Everything hurts

I know I'm going to sound like a hypochondriac which is why I haven't mentioned it to my doctor, but I am now getting a bit worried. I'm only 25, relativley physically healthy (as far as I am aware) but something always seems to be hurting. I do have some quite severe mental health problems and I know depression can cause some physical symptoms sometimes but I've had depression for a long time and this is fairly new (worsening over the last year or so). The pain migrates, so sometimes its my ribs and it hurts to breathe in, and even pressing the area feels tender, sometimes - like the last week it is in my legs and today it is so bad that I am finding it hard to walk (today is the worst it's ever been), it can be in my shoulders and elbows, or my neck. What can be causing this? I shouldn't be in this much pain all the time it is ridiculous Sad but I also don't want to bother my GP if its likely nothing (all in my head).

I once spent over 12 months with an untreated thyroid issue (long story) so I know hypothyroidism can cause, amongst other things, muscle and joint aches along with tenderness and stiffness. Then again Vitamin D deficiency can cause pain as can B12 deficiency and low iron can cause reduced pain threshold so you feel pain more.
It’s worth having a chat with the Dr to see if they will do a blood test to rule out treatable causes. I hope they can find something that is easily fixed Flowers

If you are in pain, it’s not in your head!!! Having a MH issues doesn’t make you feel pain.

Please go and see your GP. There are many reason why you might some pain like this, incl some migrating pain

Thank you both, I will make a GP appointment to talk about this. The pain is worse today, and I'm still struggling to walk.

@Seychelles98 I checked my temperature and its 36.2 so thats fine, and I'm not overweight (bmi 22, I weigh just under 8 stone but I am very short). My diet is pretty good other than I probably don't drink quite enough water. I walk to work and back which is about an hours exercise and I'm ln my feet at work too, and my two children are quite young so alot of running around after them too.
