WHITE SPOTS ON CLITOROUS HELP!

grannyinapram · 04/01/2021 19:26

Anyone have any clue what it could be, I've googled but I can't find anything thats the same, they are hard little white dots. I thought I had a yeast Infection coming on because I was itching but I just had to stop making love because it got knocked and really hurt like I was being stabbed, I thought I was cut or something but when I checked there were loads 4/5 white spots! they kill! and my clitoral hood is really red and it looks swollen, but I'm not sure as I don't go poking around down there often.

long term relationship, only one partner so I doubt its an sti.

this is so tmi and I'm so sorry but docs are closed and the pain is immense. I feel really dry, I was thinking of using some old creme I have for thrush but not sure if thats a good idea.

Any help? I'm so sorry but where better to ask?
(I did try an online service but it looked kinda dodgy)

Oh and I thought maybe it was hardened discharge that had been trapped underneath but I couldn't scratch it off. No idea what it is.

Doctors are not closed. 111 is available 24hrs a day. Hmm

Pukkatea · 04/01/2021 19:28

If they are bunched together like a cauliflower it could be papilloma, if not probably blocked sebaceous glands, possibly now infected?

StillReasonablyIntelligent · 04/01/2021 19:29

Why would you ask on a public forum? Call 111 or make a Dr apt

SunniCameHomeWithAVengeance · 04/01/2021 19:30

Take some painkillers for tonight and make a doctors appointment tomorrow.

LowestEbb · 04/01/2021 19:32

but where better to ask?

Out of hours, your GP tomorrow, ffs even 111 surely is better than here. Hmm

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 04/01/2021 19:34

Sounds like lichen sclerosis.

FraggleShingleBellRock · 04/01/2021 19:35

For gods sake leave the op alone, she is clearly worried and the reaction of you lot about her asking in PUBLIC forum shows clearly that there is still a very serious stigma attached to women discussing genital health.

How you get it sorted op.

crochetcrazy1978 · 04/01/2021 19:35

My first thought was lichen sclerosis but yes def see how

grannyinapram · 04/01/2021 19:42

My drs are closed until the morning and I'm not going to waste 111 time on a sore downstairs. Thank you to the people who aren't mean Hmm

Lemons1571 · 04/01/2021 19:45

MissBaskinIfYoureNasty · 04/01/2021 19:47

Hmmm

In the meantime (as it could be anything !)
Rinse with water after a wee
I also recommend coconut oil as a harmless balm

OP if you can go to GUM clinic
They are the best for mysterious genital ailments , if open ?
Don’t google !

Thisisworsethananticpated · 04/01/2021 19:51

I’d try and get a referral to GUM via NHS line
The reason I’d say that is they are far more expert on genital issues than a run of the mill GP
Good luck , in the
Meantime look after it , dry with a hairdryer after a wee and use something neutral like coconut oil or Sudocrem for the sore bits

It won’t do any harm to use the thrush cream for now but you can get online appointments with most GPs now so one will give you a call. Maybe you’ve got blocked follicles? Maybe have a bath with some Dettol and get some cotton wool and wash it with dettol then put the thrush cream on it. Take some painkillers too. If you’re working from home don’t put any underwear on to give it a bit of a breather down there.

Thisisworsethananticpated · 04/01/2021 20:03

Can I say best to NOT use thrush cream actually ? It’s a strong cream and if the issue isn’t confirmed thrush a gentler healing cream would be better
But agree to air it , and look after the sore bits

AnnieHoo · 04/01/2021 20:06

Sounds like the common Bartholin's cyst.

lambo88 · 04/01/2021 20:06

I would ring ur gp hun...I don't think many are seeing patients but I no my gp is doing telephone calls so at least u can speak to a doctor xx

theonlykaren · 04/01/2021 20:11

Sounds like a blockage of the glands but I'd definitely get it checked hun x

ChocolateSantaisthebestkind · 04/01/2021 20:14

Do you wear pads everyday? Could be dehydration or rubbing of the area

Littleposh · 04/01/2021 20:15

Sounds like thrush to me but I'd suggest getting a new tube if it's been sat around open for a long time

grannyinapram · 04/01/2021 20:16

@Thisisworsethananticpated
I already googled and was convinced I had cancer until dh snapped me out of it

update, wiped with a damp cloth and the white came off but I still have bumps and cuts
I have no idea what the hell is going on :-S

and medical advice is what I came to mumsnet for in the first place

You can buy small white plastic bottles of dettol specifically for bathing / cleaning - don't use ordinary dettol it's not the same. This will effectively cleanse the area and provide some relief.

Use a clean towel every time you bathe. This should hopefully help until you receive medical treatment.

You can use it on a cotton wool pad to clean yourself after passing urine x
