he's 14 weeks. finally got the minging cold we've all had. Took him to the docs today; he's not ill enough to have to go to hospital...yet. Am keeping an eye on him of course, main worry is I can't get him to sleep and he's going to get completely knackered and therefore more ill.
He's back to the docs tomorrow morning (am in NZ) meanwhile can take him to 24 hrs place if I am worried/he gets worse
So I won't be getting any sleep again will I - it's horrid
Feel a bit of a fraud moaning on here as people have babies in hospital, but actually feel quite upset & tense about it. Hate hearing him wheezing

Oh I feel for you. Ds1 had it around 10 weeks and it was the scariest thing to listen to at night time.

It was terrible taking at 2.5 month old for chest Xrays.

Hope your little guy gets better soon.

JackieNo · 14/06/2007 20:13

How's he doing today, MrsJC?

MrsJohnCusack · 14/06/2007 21:25

he is much better thanks Jackie
we are all still drowning in horrible coughs/colds and my ears have gone funny, but DS is no longer wheezing so badly and some semblance of sleep has been resumed (Apart from DD screaming for her hippo at 4.45am that is )

Glad things are improving - and hope your DD found her hippo. Getting a bit of sleep makes everything else a lot more bearable, with any luck.

Get Well Soon to all the Cusack family - it's so grim when everyone has a bug at the same time. I'm so glad Master Cusack is better today.

(hijack) I'm back in your neck of the woods on July 5 - will post the times when I know them in case anyone's keen for a coffee.

ja9 · 14/06/2007 22:12

Aww. So sorry for you. Hugs.

MrsJohnCusack · 14/06/2007 22:38

glad to hear he's a bit better MrsJC. Would you like me to post you a hot water bottle?

Kewcumber · 14/06/2007 22:48

PS check out new photos of DS on my profile

dejags · 15/06/2007 11:42

Glad to hear he is feeling better MrsJC.

Thanks for asking after DD she is doing well - a small hiccup with rotavirus meant a readmission for the night last night , but she is ok and we were cleared to come home this morning. Long may it last.

Talking of DD, she is desireous of a feed, so that's my MN time scuppered .

Hope your DS is 100% well soon.

welliemum · 15/06/2007 23:56

cool, will keep you posted!

welliemum · 15/06/2007 23:56

Oh, dejags, what a time you're having. Hope she's loads better today.
