Bum problem

Name change for this.

I had internal piles approx. six years ago. They were very sore for a few days but the pain and bleeding stopped. I used suppositories, baths and diet. I think one prolapsed. I could push it back in initially but then it would just pop back out. So I have had this protruding thing since that time Blush.

I've always been too embarrassed to go to the GP about it. I started seeing my now husband five years ago. I was embarrassed at first but he mentioned it to me once out of curiosity and I no longer feel embarrassed with him. It has given me no issues apart from keeping down below clean (need to use wet wipes).

I had my first baby this year. It did not worsen at all despite a two hour pushing stage, despite my worry that I would end up with a bunch of grapes Blush. I vaguely remember the midwife asking about it at one point and me replying that I've had it for a long time.

I've had no problems with it since the birth of my baby. I suppose I'm just wondering has anyone had the same problem for so long? And is it definitely a haemorrhoid or could it be something else?

You should get professional medical advice OP. Maybe a GP will come on here to help but you will need to be examined. It's embarrassing sure but doctors have seen everything and I believe it's very common.

I've had piles due childbirth and it's really nothing to be embarrassed about.

I know you're seeking anonymous advice here but unless you send some bum pics no one here can advise you properly Grin. Just get it checked out ASAP xx

Is it a skin tag left over after the piles shrunk down?

embarrassingbodynamechange · 10/09/2018 23:03

Cringing at the thought of taking pics Blush you'd think after giving birth I wouldn't be so easily embarrassed.

Yes I am thinking that it might be a left over skin tag type thing. It is pink and kind of rounded. Do you know if it is something that is easy to remove if it is that?

Tempted to try what the arse doctor did but I don't think I can bear the thought of possibly ending up in A&E and being a laughing stock Grin
