Name change for this.
I had internal piles approx. six years ago. They were very sore for a few days but the pain and bleeding stopped. I used suppositories, baths and diet. I think one prolapsed. I could push it back in initially but then it would just pop back out. So I have had this protruding thing since that time
.
I've always been too embarrassed to go to the GP about it. I started seeing my now husband five years ago. I was embarrassed at first but he mentioned it to me once out of curiosity and I no longer feel embarrassed with him. It has given me no issues apart from keeping down below clean (need to use wet wipes).
I had my first baby this year. It did not worsen at all despite a two hour pushing stage, despite my worry that I would end up with a bunch of grapes
. I vaguely remember the midwife asking about it at one point and me replying that I've had it for a long time.
I've had no problems with it since the birth of my baby. I suppose I'm just wondering has anyone had the same problem for so long? And is it definitely a haemorrhoid or could it be something else?
