I love this site lots to mess about with BUT....

I find it cannot possibly be true

I am the heaviest i have ever been with a bmi of 22 . i look bad and flabby with horrid arms but according to these sites this is healthy.

Anyone else just find these things wrong? Some people probably look fab at this bmi but for me i look hideous... I do not understand them...

I have a 9" difference between waist and hips!

My BMI is 25, 6 months post baby, but I'd like to get it to 20. But it's been 22-23 and I've looked awful, all flabby and soft. BMI doesn't take into account % of body fat so you can be light but still be carrying fat.

Piffle · 07/05/2007 22:29

I have no hips
1 inch difference between waist n hips
Boy hips infact

Jelley · 07/05/2007 22:29

im apparently underweight on 7th centile but im a stone heavier since having my 3rd child.whats age got to do with it?

Jelley · 07/05/2007 22:30

I'm sure I'm carrying more fat than ever before, despite not being actually fat.

Have an urge to measure my waist now, but no tape measure.

dinny · 07/05/2007 22:31

KP - you increase fat ratio as you age

mustrunmore · 07/05/2007 22:32

Jelley, I got the measure out of the toolbox to do mine! A bit tricky to bend round accurately!

Flamesparrow · 07/05/2007 22:33

37th thingy

misdee · 07/05/2007 23:18

mine was 38.8 3weeks ago, is already 36.2 now. am on cambridge diet. got to keep on track

Flamesparrow · 08/05/2007 07:45

No exciting answers there - breastfeeding for 12 months plus overactive 3-4yr old, early walking DS, starting business... very rarely sitting still and no time to eat!!!

Now that I am attempting to eat more (don't want to lose any more) I am having problems because my appetite is less
