WelshBoris · 04/04/2007 18:25

Yeah hope he is better soon. He sounds healthy and fit so should be a fast recovery

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 04/04/2007 18:39

I had it in my 30's cod, following a strep infection, so bacterial rather than viral. Night-time was worse and getting up in the morning was agony. Keep his ibuprofen topped up.

OrvilleRedenbacher · 04/04/2007 22:39

I have had this twice, once in my teens after a viral infection and once in my twenties after Human Parvo same as Hunkermunker. The first tie it took me about 3 weeks to get completely over it but the second time it was just a few days. I just rested a lot and had warm baths, couldn't really do a lot else to help tbh. Hope your lo is feeling better soon.

Oh I hope he gets better soon Cod. If it makes you feel any better dp and sil both had a weird bug a few weeks ago that gave them a temp, cough, headache then very painful joints. Sil took time off work and her's went after about 10 days dp as usual wouldn't take time of work and he didn't feel right for about 3-4 weeks. Lets hope it is just a virus.

hunkermunker · 09/04/2007 15:18

KerryMum, I had the same as you.

Cod, I think he's not got it as badly as KM and I had it - I couldn't get out of bed without screaming and I am not a wuss when it comes to pain.

See how he is this week, but definitely get some blood tests if he's no better by Wed.
