Some of you may be aware that my friend bubblicious has been suffering a lot of pain following a small heart operation & was told it was more than likely an inflamation of her heart lining & to continue with the painkillers.

I text her today to see how she was & she told me that last night the pain was so bad that she had to go to hospital at 2am & have a strong painkilling injection, and has been told that she will be admitted to hospital if there is no improvement in the next 2 days.

She is still in pain & I am worried about her.

Don't know if she will see this, but wanted to let her know I am thinking of her & to send her lots of get well vibes.xx

Poor bubblicious. Get well soon xx

Hope her DH now realises that he has to do more to allow her to recuperate. When I read her other thread at the weekend I was incensed

Pinkchampagne · 03/04/2007 16:16

I know, C&C, I couldn't believe the way he was expecting her to get on with all the household chores the minute she came home.
He has taken today off work apparantly, so I hope he's looking after her.

Can you not go to the hospital? she sounds like she may need the support (cant see her dh being very helpful)

Chandra · 03/04/2007 16:29

I'm very sorry to hear she is not feeling well but hope that now she is in hospital they will be able to do something for her sooner.

Bubblicious, hope you feel better very very soon

Pinkchampagne · 03/04/2007 16:29

Get well soon, Bubblicious.

Pinkchampagne · 03/04/2007 18:00

She said that the pain felt like her heart was being crushed.
I hope she will be ok.

Oh no! Do give her my regards too PC. She tried to msn me the other day and I had to get a third party to explain to her that I wasn't up to talking as my ds3 was having (minor) complications after the op he had last week. I feel a bit of a shit for doing that now. I hope she is better soon.

Actually, I haven't seen the thread, but if her dh isn't treating her properly at home, she is probably better off in hospital. Some of them even have internet access if she feels up to it!

Pinkchampagne · 03/04/2007 18:16

I will do, DG. Hope your DS is feeling better now.

Have just phoned the hospital to see if I could find out how she is.
They couldn't tell me much, but said that she is being seen by the doctors atm.

Please pass on my best wishes. I had a similar operation to her original one. I hope they get the infection sorted really really soon.

Glad she was admitted quickly.

Pinkchampagne · 03/04/2007 19:42

I will pass on your best wishes, LF.
Did you have any problems following your op?

The poor thing...hope everything is o.k. and not serious!

Chandra · 03/04/2007 20:11

PinkChampagne, I didn't know much about Bubblicious until your thread, in fact I thought (from your thread) she was your sister. Please tell her that I'm sending plenty of heartfelt hugs both to make her feel better (I know, I know) and in apreciation for her kind words last week.
