LOLOLOLOLOL AT YOUR - - -

Surprised about the sachets, they are handy to put in a travel bag

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 22/03/2007 14:30

Firstly LOL at spacebar not stopping MNetting
Secondly tis easier to read than 90% of Cods posts so no need to worry there
Thirdly you can still get bottles - but they are over the counter rather at chemists rather than available at supermarket

MrsSpoon · 22/03/2007 14:31

I totally agree with you, IME Calpol sachets always have short measures.

Cappuccino · 22/03/2007 14:31

i threw wine on my laptop the other night

mouse has surprisingly improved function

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 22/03/2007 14:34

If you need it (alhtough you seem to be coping rather well) if you go to accessibility options you can get an on screen keyboard up to help with your keyboard issues...

KittyLetteMeEatAnEasterEgg · 22/03/2007 14:35

your-right-they-arent-full-measures-are-about-2/3ml-less

opps i dont have to do that do i?? lol

IdrisTheDragon · 22/03/2007 14:36

I haven't had problems buying bottles of Calpol - have they been phased out?

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldinghands · 22/03/2007 14:36

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 22/03/2007 14:38

Don't take it to pieces then - you'll invalidate the warranty (but then I guess the water already has)

Was it def water. I spilt coke on my keyboard and then when I got back all hte keys had siezed as a result of the stickiness. Allit needed was lots of repetative key pressing to loosen the keys?

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 22/03/2007 14:39

You can still get bottles at chemists. If you want to buy at the supermarket I think they are only licensed to sell sachets.

UnquietDad · 22/03/2007 14:41

ShinyHappy
Thanks for the warning - I'd always assumed the sachets were correctly measured.

Your hyphenation is funyn as it makes me hear your voice without breaths and slightly high-pitched, as if you are really-angry-about-this!!

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 22/03/2007 14:42

Thats true - you kind of read it without breathing....

McDreamy · 22/03/2007 14:44

I found the same of the nurofen ones too

LedodgyCheapEasterEggsAreASin · 23/03/2007 21:12

You're so right Unquiet dad isn't it weird that a few dashes can change the entire pitch of a post! The op got gets higher and higher and faster and faster!

JanH · 23/03/2007 21:25

SJ, if you squeezed every last tiny little drop out of a sachet and only got 80% of stated capacity then your next stop is Trading Standards - short weight is seriously wrong anyway and when it's a medicinal dose it's worse

edam · 23/03/2007 21:34

Agree with JanH (as always!), contact Trading Standards. Bloody sachets bloody useless IMO.

LedodgyCheapEasterEggsAreASin · 23/03/2007 22:20

I always agree with JanH too I think it's because she reminds me of my Aunty Betty.

EllieK · 23/03/2007 22:23

i've found i can get the bottles in sainsburys but not in tesco and that's on the shelf, not from the pharmacy

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 23/03/2007 22:53

They have just started selling the 2m+ calpol on hte shelf here - but not the 6y+

ledodgysauntybetty · 23/03/2007 22:55

I always agree with JanH too

EllieK · 23/03/2007 22:56

aah, we're still on the 2m+
