Pmsl I came back to this thread and thought i'd posted that then looked properly!

princesscc · 24/03/2007 00:02

Excuse my ignorance, but is that how you are supposed to give the sachets - straight from the packet? I've always poured it onto a spoon and it really used to hack me off that I could not hold the spoon and squeeze the packet very easily!

(Incidentally - that's the second time I typed that - the first time I was touch typing and not looking at the screen and when I came to post it - I relised that the keyboard wasn't even plugged in!)

Good for you I think it should be taken further - trading standards etc, happy to help anyone that wants to push this.

staceym11 · 24/03/2007 07:09

i used to use sachets but found they were short, someone realy should complain, i jsut dont have the time. however i can still get mine at the supermarket as we only use the 2m+ stuff atm!

glad you got some on prescription tho, thats an achievment in itself!

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 24/03/2007 09:06

TBH the sachets are a very expensive way of buying it irrespective of measurements. I have never bothered with them and if I need to I take a bottle and syringe out with me. The only thing I would consider them for is keeping a couple in my bag in if I had such a child that needed them regularly - as a 'just in case' precaution.

Also I very much doubt that you would ever avtually get 100ml out of a 100ml bottle as it all sticks to teh sides etc... its just that you never notice as you don't counter the doses. Nevertheless the sachets should be a bit better measured as they are supposed to represent a complete dose...

Hope you get you keyboard sorted soon, although I have to admit it is quite fun reading your posts at ATM...

Have you sorted it yet?

Maybe it only works in MS applications, have you tried it in word? and then cut and paste the document into your mail programme.

Or how about cutting and pasting a space mark from another document (or MN!!!). You don't need to copy it every time, just copy it once and then press [Ctrl+v] each time you want to put a space in.

SlightlyMadSpringBunny · 24/03/2007 17:48

Or if you want to post you letter here I will of course replace teh hyphens for spaces if you want!!!
