Weird symptoms - please help diagnose me

I feel cold and achey all over as if coming down with a heavy cold - but no other cold symptoms.

My fingers are swollen. Not hugely, but noticeably. My fingers and wrists are particularly achey.

I have a rash on my lower legs, but nowhere else. It looks like shaving rash, but I had all my leg hairs lasered off ages ago so haven't shaved in weeks. The rash doesn't blanch with pressure.

Slight fever, well controlled with Ibuprofen.

The symptoms have lasted for 48 hours so far, largely unchanged.

Is this anything to worry about?

How did you get on op?

Almost certainly just a slightly unusual reaction to a viral infection, but I should have bloods to test for the infection markers if it hasn't settled by Tuesday.

Cha cha- I'm back- turns out getting my mind off this hasn't been as easy as i thought. Did they check your blood pressure and urine for protein as it sounds exactly like hsp- down to it being related to a viral infection.

Yes, they checked both - completely normal, I'm pleased to report. I'm so sorry this thread has disturbed you, Iambubbles.

No not at all cha cha, I'm so pleased that the results are good and its my own fault for clicking, my therapist has said I'm not meant to be looking at anything medical yet you made very clear in your title that it was medical related so its my own fault, I would never have forgiven myself if I hadn't said anything though as its not a very well known illness but the complications can be horrible if they happen. The fact that there's no protein and bp is normal though are excellent signs. I can relax now I know you are ok
