what disease can my friend get 2 days before xmas so she doesnt have to see her family?

faking illness is the only way to go, i said i would do some research on the net as my suggestion of smallpox didnt go down too well.

can anyone help with a not so serious people are worried enough to go round but too bad and contageous for her to spend the day with bickering family disease please?

Scarlet fever is a decent one cos DS had it! its D&V plus fever and a bad rash. Lasted for 7 days but he was okay after that, soudn sded good though.
