That's it, really. CAT me if you want one. I can't imagine P+P would be more than a pound, if that, they are pretty light. I would want paying by Paypal.

sniff sniff, I won't be using one for months, I'm definitely going to get one then though, they are the best idea

FrannyandZooey · 08/10/2006 12:17

foulmoonfiend · 08/10/2006 12:21

eeeuuugghh! They aren't, erm, 'shop-soiled' are they???

FrannyandZooey · 08/10/2006 12:43

LOL no they are brand new from the manufacturer. Bizarrely though I can only order them once a month so if you want one in a hurry buy elsewhere

(Moony next order is on Tues, I can order you one then?)

Yes wait till I have weighed it then I'll tell you how much to send for postage as well FMF. I don't need payment up front as I know you.

Pruni I am in a Suma wholesale group and we can get all sorts of things at wholesale prices by ordering in bulk together. I just spotted that they sell Mooncups and this seemed like a good way to share the wonder of Mooncuppery with MNers.

CaliFanjo you could probably auction yours on eBay

"one and only world famous Mooncup, as featured in the Observer"

FrannyandZooey · 08/10/2006 21:48

Ok FMF and anyone else, I may have cocked up a little

I think they are subject to VAT

I think it is only 5 % though which would make it about 60p more. I guess the total price with postage is going to be about £15 so sorry if I have misled you. I am going to order at least one this month (or more if people want me to) and then will have a definite price for the future. I think it will still be cheaper than you can get elsewhere but do look around and check.

What is a Suma wholesale group? I think I have Suma brown rice in the cupboard, is that connected?

Pruhoohooohoooooni · 08/10/2006 21:51

I ask because MIL and I are looking for some way to buy wholesale, esp eco detergents etc

foulmoonfiend · 08/10/2006 22:07

well I can't get one locally (i tried in our Boots and was subjected to a very embarassing interrogation by crabby staff member who leapt away from me as if I had asked for in-store labia piercing when I explained what a moon-cup was!)

So I'm still in

FrannyandZooey · 08/10/2006 22:08

Pruni, yup. Suma are a co-op wholesalers dealing in wholefoods, green toiletries etc., and will sell to anyone who opens an account with them and orders £250 + worth of goods. (If you are north of Glasgow it needs to be £300, sorry can't remember where you are based)

There may already be a collective in your area who group together to order from them. It is so cheap, and worth organising a group if you don't want to spend the full £250 yourself. Look on www.suma.co.uk for more details.

Last chance to get one this month - I need to order by tomorrow so CAT me or post on here if you want one.

I'll bump this again next month near the order time, otherwise.

OP posts:
Greensleeves · 09/10/2006 19:28

How droll that it happens to be once a month

I didn't know you were a bucket-wearer, Franny!

FrannyandZooey · 09/10/2006 19:38

Shall I get you one, Greeny? No?

OP posts:
foulmoonfiend · 09/10/2006 19:47

F and Z - they don't come in different sizes do they?!

foulmoonfiend · 09/10/2006 19:48

ps, do you and greeny do msn? just joined up and want some nice lentil weavers to play with ocasionally.

FrannyandZooey · 09/10/2006 19:54

FMF yes but I have ordered what I presume is the correct size for you - the bucket version, for those of us with fanjos that have seen the world

OP posts:
foulmoonfiend · 10/10/2006 18:03

(well, ok, I've had 2 kids 'naturally' so, it ain't going to be cherry-like down there ahem )
