That's it, really. CAT me if you want one. I can't imagine P+P would be more than a pound, if that, they are pretty light. I would want paying by Paypal.

hi f&z, I think I would be interested although happy to wait another month before I order. Think I'd probably be 'bucket' size too

FrannyandZooey · 10/10/2006 20:25

Sorry FMF there are only 2 sizes, one for women under 30 who have never borne children, and "The Mumsnet Special"

Mummypig I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner but I think it is just too late to catch this month's order. Will you give me a nudge next month if I forget you? I'll be able to give the proper total price for them shortly as well.

QueenEvil · 10/10/2006 20:27

F&Z is it too late to place an order with you - dd has been asking for one ever since I got mine!

FrannyandZooey · 10/10/2006 20:34

Sorry QE, I can get you one next month? I'll bump the thread (or start a new one) a week before next month's order will go through. Or give me a shout if I forget.

Right ladies the Suma delivery driver is stuck in Brightlingsea and he has your Mooncups with him. They should be with me tomorrow evening and I will sort everything out over the weekend. Hope that's ok.

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 18:43

Ok the Mooncups are costing me £14.28 apparently (there is VAT at 5% on them)

I will weigh and calculate postage and email the two people who have made definite orders for this month

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 19:21

Oh poo and bother I have deleted the email from the other lady who CATted me and I don't know your MN name

Please can the other person who I ordered one for, who was waiting to hear the final price before Paypalling me, please get in touch again? Sorry...(been one of those weeks)

The final price with 1st class postage is going to be £15.28 pence, so not as cheap as I first envisaged, but still an improvement on what you'll pay elsewhere. I think

TooTickyTheAppleMuncher · 13/10/2006 19:32

Franny, can I order one next month please?

FrannyandZooey · 13/10/2006 20:01

Tooticky yes indeedy

Please poke me if I don't start another thread next month or get in touch with you; I may need reminding

OP posts:
TooTickyTheAppleMuncher · 13/10/2006 21:42

I have amemory like a sieve with holes in the holes...

FrannyandZooey · 17/10/2006 07:44

Foulmoonfiend, and other person who I have forgotten , please can you get in touch with me and arrange payment? Failing that I will see if anyone else is interested (sorry, but I have paid for them up front and I need the money)

OP posts:
Clarinet60 · 19/10/2006 22:26

I paid £3.50 for mine in our local health food store, about 4 yrs ago. I don't think they've gone up that much.

foulmoonfiend · 23/10/2006 12:05

droile - £19 last time I looked and that was online!

F&Z, mine arrived this morning! kids were intrigued...thought about pretending it was a kitchen device but then just fixed them with a hard stare and said: ''It's for women, now who wants a biscuit!''

FrannyandZooey · 23/10/2006 13:53

Mooncup recommend they are sold at £19.99 each so I am not quite sure how you got yours so cheap Droile

I have been in touch with them to see if we could get cheaper buying direct from Mooncup, but it would only be 55p cheaper and we would have to buy 12 at a time, so I don't think I can be bothered with that.

The other thing is that I forgot Paypal would fleece me on accepting your payments Next time I will have to ask for bank transfer - don't see why we should line Paypal's pockets every month

OP posts:
mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 23/10/2006 15:01

Can you order me one next time please? Will do a bank transfer or a cheque whichever is better for you my email is [email protected]

FrannyandZooey · 23/10/2006 18:02

Yup I will check these threads again in a week or so and round up everybody and their money. No offence to anyone, but I don't want to do cheques as it can take weeks before they show up as bounced. And we all make mistakes

OP posts:
Groveregg · 23/10/2006 18:29

Can you put me down for one as well, next time you get some? That mooncup enthusiasts thread has convinced me...

hunkermunker · 23/10/2006 18:31

I'd like one, please. Will email you.

Have NO idea when I'll be using it, but if you can only order them once a month, would make sense to have one now.

shazdisembodiedronnie · 23/10/2006 18:52

I'll have one next time you order please.

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 23/10/2006 19:00

yeah me too, you've convinced me, am confused and sleep-free. Do you want paypalling now and to what address or will you cattle prod us nearer the time?

Kidstrack · 23/10/2006 19:06

Me too! I can do bank transfer!

FrannyandZooey · 23/10/2006 22:02

Oh how marvellous

This is fab

I will start an official new thread in a week or two, give a date for payment, and round you all up if I can

It will have to be bank transfer only I think; paypal took 75p per transaction last time Filly, and I don't want cheques for reasons mentioned before. I will send instructions to everyone nearer the time

(or poke me if I forget)

whooOOOoooOOOpsfallenoveragain · 23/10/2006 22:05

Can I order one please? Just had coil out so expect af soon! unless I am really lucky and fall pregnant straight away!
I am 30 next year and have had 3 sections should I get A or B?

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 24/10/2006 00:26

Think mine will have to be the bucket

FrannyandZooey · 24/10/2006 07:58

Whoops, technically I think you should get the small size, but being 30 next year I think I would go for bucket sized...

Anyone over 30, or having given birth vaginally, needs the bucket
