Have some really strange homework need help tonight???

melsy · 21/03/2004 20:48

I know thsi may be a bit heavy for a Sunday night, but i might sleep better if I start this. Ive had a strange weekend as had a VERY spiritual experience on Friday and then had a SEVERE panic attack lastnight post arguing with DH about my spiritual encounter.

My hypnotherapist has asked me to do some work on how I am moving forward , but the angle is Thatit has to be from a sensory point of view ,like a self progress report. I have the title "As I see, hear & feel myself moving forward". Could be things I say or feel. I just dont know were to start , I just keep popping on here as I am fed up with looking at a blank page on my computor. I normally know how to do this stuff , but I just seem to be blocked as its really difficult.

My 1st too !!

OP posts:
papillon · 22/03/2004 09:47

excellent!!

I am thinking of getting outdoors right now - pop to the local health shop...
do you get out for walks much ... exercise is a great tonic - I carry dd in a carrier... she is getting heavy.

how is the linking up going of the words....

melsy · 22/03/2004 09:51

Oh do you mean the linking to my three headings ?? I f so I havent done that yet , just had to go and make the bottles up amd need some brekky!!

I new this would be hard , thats why I left it so late , I normally do this stuff so quickly, as she always sets me stuff to do every week.

OP posts:
papillon · 22/03/2004 09:57

no not the headings -- way to hard...

just have you linked any words together.... can help start makin g things more organised and start a train of thought on your feelings and the work you are currently doing.

maybe also if you have not already write down why it has taken you awhile this time... what is blocked..

I gotta go... dd interest in typing worn off and w are going outside...

good luck

with check in about 45mins

melsy · 22/03/2004 10:03

Thank you, have a nice walk. AAAhh see what you mean , will have a ponder!!!

I think the block is fear of doing it wrong , even though she is not a teacher and will tell me off. I like to achieve and do everything right and well.

I think I will print this of for her to read.

Hoep to speak to you soon.

OP posts:
papillon · 22/03/2004 11:11

...back from the walk, dd in bed - and devote some quick time to this if you are around - but plan a lie doen myself!!

papillon · 22/03/2004 11:16

I read this sentence that you wrote:

I like to achieve and do everything right and well.

Are you afraid that you have not been doing those things not just with your report
I understand abit that you are falling to bits. Not being well and a young baby to care for. Is she your first also?

I get headaches too... they are horrible. Could not sleep the whole night once last week ... I was a Zombie the next day.

melsy · 22/03/2004 11:31

yes she is my first . You are good having a rest still. I dont as much anymore as I thinnk I should always be doing housewife stuff. I do spend alot of time on here when im home alone.

Yes I do feel I dont do things well, I always am fishing for a well done or thank you from my DH for doing the house or putting all the washing on or making a nice meal. I am turning into a stepford wife. It is a contrast to my other life before. I do enjoy being a mum , but the days alone are hard for me , even though I like solitude , its just a bit much sometimes.

OP posts:
papillon · 22/03/2004 11:58

We bought a robot vacuum cleaner so that I do NOT have to so much house work LOL!

I know what you mean about the change in life.
I am still trying to do things that I used to enjoy. but it is hard sometimes when I am feeling knackered and want to lie down instead or entertain the dd.

Still they do not just need toys... they can help and watch you doing things. I do that a little with dd and will do more so when she is older.

Fishing for compliments is all well and good. I like afew positive affirmations over my cleaning the house too!!
but maybe try and not make it too much the focus... hard when u are home all day!!
have confidence in yourself.. you come across like a lovely lady... and like what your hypnotherapist said
....realise that even the small moments like this are what I think they are... I reckon life is like that... My Granny used to say you have to be happy with what you have got, or you will never be happy with anything. Small things can be the solution to greater happiness I reckon.!!
I have to eat my lunch now... but I am still here!!
dd only slept 30mins... did her big sleep this morning ... oh well she is happy that is good.

melsy · 22/03/2004 12:08

ROFL so much on the robot hoover , love it love it love it.

The comment was made in a more spiritual slant by the clairvoyant , meaning that I should believe that they are spritual moments and not my mind playing with me & that I should trust my 6th sense in the metaphysical / spirit world term, But you know what it could be seen both ways as you stated , as in happiness in the small things that happen in life.

Thank you for saying I come across as "lovely lady" !! that is nice thing to say even though I dont always feel I am.

OP posts:
papillon · 22/03/2004 12:13

how is the report coming along?

good to trust the internal spiritual moments. I had alot of those in association with my daughter... her unborn spirit... when she was inside me ... and the birth.

I had good instincts about having this chat with you too... some little messages which I have learnt to be aware of and try to recognise them more and trust them (the hard part)

papillon · 22/03/2004 12:16

robovac

melsy · 22/03/2004 12:36

Robovac LOL so much !!!!

Wow I cant believe you said that I feel the same way . I love these moments. I will have to contact you through here on email ,as it would be nice to toalk to you later. I have to go now as DD needs lunch & then i have to get her to my sisters so I can go to my therapists appt. I have written quite a lot now and it is lovely, so thankyou for your help this morning. Its not a huge amount I dont want to just fill it for the sake of it. I feel a bit happier now . May be my therapist will help me understand it more later.

I also felt a spirit before dd came too. I also felt my other ones spirit , but I had a miscarriage , but I had a feeling it was a boy and I had a name too. Now I cant use it for the 2nd if its a boy. Not pg yet BTW. May be next year.

I will check on here quickly b4 I go in about 15 mins.

OP posts:
papillon · 22/03/2004 12:47

Have you heard of this book checkitout

good luck at the appt!!!

will be lovely to chat on email! this chat has been good for us both!!

melsy · 22/03/2004 19:54

Evening papillon, well I think she was impressed with how much I have done. But I think I did it wrongish ,but there is still some valuable stuff for her to read !! I have attempted to re do some more tonight, (because I am obsessed with doing things rigt). She said most patients write stuff on napkins or back of envelopes!! Bless them,(not supposed to sound patronising BTW), it is hard to write some of this stuff, and if your not used to presentation work then thats how it is. Its context not qaulity in this case really.

I will be sending you an email as it would be good to chat more about spirtualism and other things we are into regarding this. I would also like to hear about your dd.

Sorry to but in I was just fascinated by this thread!
I'm very spiritual too though as a Christian I'm not supposed to believe in such things. I've has so many experiences that I just see them as normal now. I think that us 'sensitives'are open to such things and also unfortunaetly to anxiety/depression. I read a good book called Be your own psychic by Sherron Mayes. In it she describes her horrendous battle with depression and how devoloping her psychic awareness helped her overcome this. I'm not saying that you're depressed btw as I don't know you, but it makes interesting reading.

juniper68 · 23/03/2004 10:00

or is it butt in??

papillon · 23/03/2004 10:46

Not a butt in for me. Sure Melsy feels the same.

I am not a Christian - but spirituality or energy (which is how I relate to it) is something I am drawn towards.

melsy · 23/03/2004 16:00

Not butting in at all, HI Juniper68 (were is the name from BTW??) . These are posetd for all to come and have a chat on. I am not christian , but my religion is a little spiritual, but I am not religious. I have always been into it , just never really had a spsirtual experience till now.

May be I should start a thread on spirituality , what do you think girls.??? May be i should use ,my 6th sense and say you would all love it hey!!!!

Papillon I will reply to you shortly on email. bit of a busy day and now a major food making factory in the kithchen!!! Doing my monthly freezer stock up !!!
