Does anyone else find it uncomfortable when you are riding a bike?

Am I doing something wrong?

(all else fine btw and thank you again for your schluuuuuurpy encouragement)

HuwEdwards · 10/08/2006 12:18

sorry but lmao!!!!

suejonez · 10/08/2006 12:19

Californifrau - on a chain around your neck as a lovely pendant?

Quootiepie · 10/08/2006 12:19

oh... i take it horseriding then would be out of the question with one...

HuwEdwards · 10/08/2006 12:19

or at a jaunty angle on your head as a hat....

Bozza · 10/08/2006 12:20

I don't see why it would be quootiepie. It does sound like franny has not quite got hers working right yet.

suejonez · 10/08/2006 12:21

or put some ice cream in - hey presto a handy snack holder...

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2006 12:21

I have cut most of the tail off. I am too scared to cut the rest off It does seem quite firmly lodged sometimes and I need to give it a good firm pull.

I would put yours on your bag as a handbag charm, CF.

or if you have a spare (and hey, who wouldn't), a gorgeous pair of earings

Maybe franny was suggesting that you customise your carrier bag?

expatinscotland · 10/08/2006 12:26

Cut the stem off. No matter how high it goes up, you'll have to grab the base VERY firmly and squeeze firmly, too.

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2006 12:31

but I need the stem

I am too scared without it

Yes CF, don't you think your hand luggage carrier would look rather spiffy with a mooncup charm dangling from the handle?

OP posts:
suejonez · 10/08/2006 12:50

you could dress it up with strings of crystal beads and ribbons

suejonez · 10/08/2006 12:50

I see a whole new revenue opportunity here...

suejonez · 10/08/2006 12:50

mooncup jewellery

HuwEdwards · 10/08/2006 12:52

or knee protectors....

NotQuiteCockney · 10/08/2006 12:54

I've biked with mine, and I'm only on my second cycle with it. It's actually for biking that I need it, as can manage without, most of the rest of the time.

No discomfort at all, biking with it, but it did lodge itself quite a bit higher when I biked.

And yeah, cut the tail off.

It's really quite hard to lose stuff up there, and the mooncup is probably easier to put in and take out than a diaphragm.

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2006 12:55

Anyway, about my poor bicycling fanjo

Any other ideas? I can't part with the remaining few mm of my tail just yet I'm afraind

FrannyandZooey · 10/08/2006 12:56

oops sorry x posts NQC

ah well bother

OP posts:
suejonez · 10/08/2006 12:57

cut the tail off then use rubber gloves to take it out - ther rubber will grip it more easily [helpful emoticon]

NotQuiteCockney · 10/08/2006 12:58

Not to be overly detailed, but where is the discomfort? Labia? Cervix? Walls?

NotQuiteCockney · 10/08/2006 12:58

Mine does still have a tiny tiny tail - the bit with those two ridges on it.

NotQuiteCockney · 10/08/2006 12:59

Oh, and you're not a regular cyclist - could it just be "normal" cycling fanjo issues?

(I have one of those lovely seats with a hole in it, which might help?)
