When I used to use the Keeper (same idea, different make) pre-DS I had the Poo Issue sometimes. Haven't had the same thing happen with the Mooncup but then I am using the bucket fanny size for age-related reasons only (had a c-section) so it does tend to be pretty firmly lodged up there.

This thread has made me giggle, thanks girls.
By the way I went online to order my very own shlurper in anticipation of the return of the dreaded periods (DD2 5 months) and it says that after Aug 16th Boots will have a 3 for 2 offer on them so am waiting and forcing my sisters to have a go too!

I tend to (ahem) reserve pooing for changing-visits, IYSWIM, as I feel as if I might poo it out. After all, it felt like I was pooing the baby out of my twinkle (), so why would this be different? As it happens, I've never pushed it out by itself, other than once when, IIRC, I had the galloping trots and was bursting for a wee at the same time as trying to hold everything in until I got to a loo. Needless to say my lips were firmly clenched! By the time I got to the loo the mooncup was nearly swinging free. But I think that was not a normal, run-of-the-mill occasion. So, no, I don't think you will poo it out, even though it may feel like it.

(I don't seem to have any TMI shame when it comes to mooncups - talk about the zealousness of the convert! )
