Fasting to Cure Diarrhea - Help!

Ok, I have had diarrhea since Sundayish. It has gotten worse and worse. I haven't eaten anything since yesterday morning. (Before that, I was mostly having v simple foods, anyway, and not much.)

I haven't even had juice or tea, just water. Nothing else.

I still have diarrhea. Not loads of it, but certainly some.

Do I eat now? Do I keep fasting until the diarrhea stops? Do I have some diluted apple juice?

I feel pretty wobbly (shocker) and my abdomen is pretty tender, but the GP checked me yesterday, and thinks this is just a viral thing.

Oh noooooooooooo

Angry :(

Have you got it all sorted now?

NotQuiteCockney · 10/06/2006 16:24

Mostly, yeah. The other NCT person suggested we just ask the teacher to talk faster, and do one big class, rather than two smaller ones, and the teacher is on for that. I have to call the venue, and check they're ok with that. Then I have to call 7 of the 8 couples, and check with them. (The 8th place, that I've been trying to fill all week, I finally filled with someone who I know, whose number I'd been looking for all week.)

I have a lot of NCT work to do this week, but I am not exactly motivated to do any of it, as mostly it's all just going to make more work for me. Oh well, at least it's a different annoying NCT job. And I nearly never have to deal with head office on this one.

LOLOL you are doing nothing to persuade me of the competence of the NCT to teach their grandmothers to suck eggs, I'm afraid

(we shouldn't discuss the NCT because I think it is good that you are giving up your time for a noble cause, but I will just be rude about them, the bunch of shysters)

I'm lying about the "talk faster" thing. It's just tricky (ok, impossible) to try to make up for the missing day (today) for all these couples, before their due dates.

We've made the class longer by having it start earlier, end later, shorter lunch break etc. To make up the extra time.

(I really really hate head office, though. The central NCT organisation is mind-bogglingly annoying.)
