.................. Send Your Easter Eggs To Us! Grin

I'm Mouse.

This Easter I shall mostly be eating cheese and chocolate, at the same time.

We are normally a healthy eating thread, but we've all pogged a bit of late so, we need to kick ass after Easter soon!

Stoopid builder has cancelled yet again so DH and I have spent the last 3 hours stripping DD's room for nowt. Cross? Much.

Off to watch pants tv soon, CSI and then some scrabble or the like, we are both WIRED!

Morning, tis me, Mouse. Smile

Egss - OUCH for IBS and shin splints, fuck they burn like a bastard. I live on Senna for a few days each month, to counteract the pain meds.

And, you should know better by now, sticks in running gear on the posters don't actually run, they just don't eat! Grin

It's wet and grey here, brrrrrr.

Nemo had another rough night.

My mum has decided that after last years' fiasco of only my parents bothering with Nemo's first birthday, she is going to throw him a huge party and spoil him rotten.

I'm actually really pleased as I wasn't going to bother after last time. Smile

And, my folks had too huge bushes at the front of the driveway. They cut out lots of light to the lounge so mum had them cut down. She'd been asking my dad for months to sort it. She got fed up of waiting so sorted it.

Do you know what my brother said?

'You can't do that, this is dad's house' Shock Shock Shock

I swear to Jeff, the next time I see him, he'll be getting a slap upside the head!

Also, we've all just been given some money from our Gma. Did he get her a Mother's Day gift? No. And he fucking lives there so has no excuse that he doesn't see her.

Even I managed it and we are 2 hours away!

No builder today and DH is still fuming about it because it has been booked for months.

Out for coffee later, and Nemo is due a delivery of feeding equipment. Coffee, toast and two washes done. Out for dinner with DH later, taking Nemo too obviously.

So, there you are, fully up to date with Mouse Grin

'hungry enough to chew my own leg off'

Grin fucking ace!

I know re my brother. I said to my mum that it's clearly been too long since he's had a female influence in his life, other than her. My sister and I will be having words.

Cheeky wee shite! Grin

Thai take-away here tonight, all very fresh and healthy, not deep fried stuff, YUM!

Jeff I'm knackered. Totally knackered. Been a long day. DD's room is now sorted ready for tomorrow.

Nemo is pushing boundaries and has actually done time on the naughty step today. He's not even 2 Sad

mousey, am sure nemo won't have done owt worse than other lighter toddlers, I describe 2 as the age of discontent. where you stop them putting their fingers in the fire, and they howl because you thwarted them. I was too much of a lazy arse hippy for any naughty step type stuff - but each child is different, if that's what works for you, then go with the flow. I tended till S was coming up to 4, to go more for a simple "no, naughty!" - paring the language down (his understanding of language was v delayed).

I see dubs has got there first re:encouraging a more feminist friendly attitude with your bro... how old is he, is he a lot younger than you? or is he just a nob?

Hey TC - that's my problem with Nemo, he doesn't understand and can't tell me what he wants so I just have to remove him from the situation. That's all it is, no way to communicate Sad

My brother is 2fucking5 years old! I swear he's never shown signs of Arrogant Bastard before now. I am both Sad and Shock of his view towards my mother.
