I get this, from a strained neck

CinnabarRed · 15/02/2011 12:19

Carpel tunnel syndrome? Multiple Sclerosis? Both run in my family - tingling is a common first sympton of MS.

EdgarAleNPie · 15/02/2011 12:20

heart attack?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 15/02/2011 12:20

raynauds

Lulumaam · 15/02/2011 13:08

not raynauds, my friend has that, i deffo don't have it
not a heart attack , no >

doubt it's MS.. is it really worth trip to the quacks with no toher symptoms>

OP posts:
ImFab · 15/02/2011 14:06

I thought I had carpal tunnel syndrome but actually have FM.

Lulumaam · 15/02/2011 14:43

what is FM?

OP posts:
CinnabarRed · 15/02/2011 14:48

Well, my Mum's first symptoms of MS were tingling in her hands and legs. Obviously v rare but it does happen (hopefully not to you!).

My carpel tunnel was sufficiently bad that it disrupted my sleep, so for me it was worth going to the doctor. Although I was also bricking it that I might have MS given my family history....

Figgyrolls · 15/02/2011 16:07

I had my nerves tested at the hospital just in case - turns out it wasn't anything spectacular - well there was a symptom name but the only rectifyer was to have an operation that might not have fixed it - I decided it wasn't that bad! can't remember its name though but will have a look - it was to do with a trapped nerve in my hip that was making a particular patch on my leg tingly and numb. Could be that?
