Yes, I have had that too.

FM is fibromyalgia.

thisisyesterday · 15/02/2011 16:36

no, neuralgia is any pain that follows a nerve i believe

Lulumaam · 15/02/2011 16:38

ah, i see re neuralgia... i'm not in pain though.?

fab, I have a friend with FM, it seems quite serious..

I wouldn't like to say either way as I am unsure though it has no cure. I have only recently been diagnosed but I have had it for over 3 years.

Figgyrolls · 16/02/2011 21:24

I think mine is called paresthesia, tingling/burning, mine came from pregnancy and putting on a bit of weight.

Figgyrolls · 16/02/2011 21:49

no mine isn't paresthesia which is in fact common pins and needles. I am officially chastising myself and will find the name eventually Blush

maltesers · 16/02/2011 21:50

Carpel tunnel syndrome.? ? ?
Numbness and tingling, especially in the mornings for me.
I have had the operation to release it and now it is perfect and normal again. The operation was a day case with local anaesthetic and totally pain free. Stitches in the palm of hand near the wrist, no driving a car for 2 weeks, a big bandage for 10 days, and it took 2 months to recover the use of my hand , but well worth it .

Magicmayhem · 16/02/2011 22:26

hey Lulumaam... I get that vibrating in my hip muscles as well, I often go to answer my phone when its in my pocket only to find its not ringing [miffed]
does your tingling happen often, or does it go in phases?

Lulumama · 28/02/2011 17:29

so sorry ! I had totally forgotten I had not come back to this .. still getting the tingling in my left hand but not so much, so not going to bother doc with it at the moment. less so in my feet and legs etc so we'll see what happens

thank you everyone for your responses and sorry for not coming bac x

Lulumama · 03/03/2011 19:36

jeanjeannie · 03/03/2011 20:31

Stress? Mine was - I had it for 18 months...the more I thought about it the worse it got. In the end everything tingled (even my tongue!) It was awful...I really thought I had the start of MS or something else sinister. But it was just stress and once I'd got my head around the fact that stress could actually trigger something physical it all disappeared.
Just a thought Smile

Lulumama · 05/03/2011 16:52

interesting.. not particualrly stressed, well , no more htan usual.. Grin

seems to be ok now...definitely less tingling than there was

alypaly · 06/03/2011 23:30

stress!

hardhatdonned · 06/03/2011 23:37

Stretch your arm out. If you feel a pull down the length of your arm you've got a pinched nerve in your neck. Seek medical advice.

hardhatdonned · 06/03/2011 23:39

Tingling isn't a symptom of Fibromyalgia btw not unless you're so fatigued you can barely stand also (or have fatigue in fits and starts) and have several points of your body that smart a bit when you touch them - among other things.

You could just have lent on the blood vessel funny - dead arm type thing. Clothing too tight?

Lulumama · 07/03/2011 13:08

I can feel a pull on both my arms when stretched out Hmm

clothing is loose

keep getting an odd swoony >>for want of a better word>> feeling too.

leant on my left arm before and immediatley hand went tingly

i need to go to the quacks don't i?? with this odd collection of random tingles

Bearskinwoolies · 08/03/2011 04:02

I have paresthesia caused by a b12 deficiency which I take oral supplements for.
