Anyone else get these little (or big!) fuckers?

I have now discovered a little hideyhole cave in my tonsil where they form and every few weeks I can feel poking, I prod my tonsil and out it comes. Which is good, now I can get it before it pops out itself.

I remember the first time one came out my tonsil and in to my mouth - YUCK.

The promise of zit porn dragged me in!

I think I have had them in the past, like an apple seed size lump of something like plaque from teeth - they hum. I have very scarred tonsils from a childhood full of tonsillitis.

Well I get them lots and they stab he inside of my tonsil until I get it out. Strangely satisfying to excavate the little cave of shit. Alternative is to put up with the poking, and wait until it pops out itself when its grown a bit.

I get them but not big ones - they smell really bad toe jam. Aren't they just a build up of bacteria?

Ahh...we call them cheese balls here as I find I only have them if eat too much cheese

Thankfully haven't had one for aaaaaages which I am pleased about as it makes me and I am a fan of zits and pus usually!

Don't feel robbed lucy they are bogging and smell foul.

They form from a build up of secretions and post nasal drip I think. Most people just swallow all that shite without knowing ut people with big, cryptic tonsils (that's what I got told mine were!)kind of store it up - lovely!

I had my tonsils out a year ago and I have to say I LOVE not having those horrible little bastard to deal with

You dont get them ou twith tongue. No you need a torch and a pokey thing.

They are white and soft nickel (although if you leave them over night in a tissue they go black and shrink away)

They vary in size but on a bad day mine could be the size of a piece of sweetorn or sometimes bigger.

A couple a month usually, unless I am ill such as now, and then they seem to form every few days.

I get them too from time to time and have for as long as I can remember. Suddenly you just become aware of something irritating your throat. Getting them out can be horrible too - I have a very sensistive gag reflex - cue tears pouring down my face and lots of retching.

My question - why can I go for months without any and then get a spate of them ? Is it post viral or something ?
