Anyone else get these little (or big!) fuckers?

I have now discovered a little hideyhole cave in my tonsil where they form and every few weeks I can feel poking, I prod my tonsil and out it comes. Which is good, now I can get it before it pops out itself.

I remember the first time one came out my tonsil and in to my mouth - YUCK.

Oh god...changed my mind and am rejoicing at being tonsil free. As an avid fan of hardcore pus/zit porn, I thought these would be right up my avenue. Then I found a vid on youtube...

Glad to find there are other people out there with the same problem as me. I always seem to get them in the same place, usually after/during a cold. Gargling doesn't work for me (too gentle) so I have perfected a method of removing them with a bendy straw. It seems to work for me but I need a good light to work in.

The size of sweetcorn?!?! Mine were never that big. Haven't had them in years, not since having dc - I wonder whether there's any connection? I only ever got them in my left tonsil.

I had this years ago only solution was getting my tonsils out which happened quickly once the ENT cosultant seen them,the infection can really drag you down and antibiotics only worked while I took them,once finished it just came back.

I use a teaspoon handle and a torch to get em out!

As a malnourished student living in the dampest of houses, I once picked the lot out and left in the sink for my constantly weeing on the toilet seat housemate

I used to have them. They eventually turned black. Asked doctor- said it was because tonsils collapsing due to having them. He said that our tonsils go as we get older but mine were young at about 30.

Could all be nonsense but they stopped a few months later and I had had them for 16 years

I'd forgotten all about these, but it does make my tonsils itch thinking about it. I haven't had one for years. I used to poke them out with my finger by applying pressure next to them. Whiffy if left alone - stinking if squashed between fingers.

They do live in the caves and holes of tonsils. It is not unpleasant trying to remove them, but much better if you do it first time, and don't have to try many times for the same stone. I never knew what they were called until now, or that other people had them too.

I'm just off for a prod now - but I shall wash my hands before I return....
