Morning all

It's foul weather here. DS dispatched to school and I'm about to have my first cup of tea.

Hope it's just a bug Mittz.

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 09:42

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

Sorry DS is poorly Mittz.

Brian - I hate when that happens. Nemo didn't settle until 10.30 last night.

Bitter - coffee in my Double mug! First of many I feel this morning, and thinly spread pate on wholemeal toast.

SAF - I used to love going through DD baby photo's. Especially when it was just us, all snuggled on the sofa smiling a memories. Smile

Hydro and physio today, waiting to hear from Nemo's nurse re the lack of hospital admission!

He had an 'ok' night but still struggles when he's fed, like he has trapped wind poor little chap.

Blustery and wet here. MrM is moving his office out to the cabin today!! My son will soon have his very own bedroom. Smile

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/11/2010 10:08

Mmm, pate. You have sold it to me mouse. Smile

Lasagne for dinner. It feels good to be cooking again.

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 11/11/2010 10:39

Mmmm.. I like pate and Lasagne Smile

Yours for tea Bitter? Smile x

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 10:49

Lasagne here too, from scratch and homemade garlic bread. Yum!!

Not sure what to have for lunch. Soup maybe as it's chilly brr here!!

More coffee.

How are you feeling Mittz? xx

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/11/2010 10:51

No Garlic bread here, you may want to head to Mouses Mittz. Grin

BrianAndHisBalls · 11/11/2010 10:59

WARNING - JK is very manic today and well worth watching for various fights at 1.30 but it made me want to ring social services so only watch if you're not feeling 'robust'. The fighting = very amusing, the fact that there are children living this crap = heart rending.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/11/2010 11:00

Hey Brian, where have you been hiding?

I've just remembered I still owe you some money. Blush

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 11:04

Will get MrM to leave the tv on that channel as I'll be being bent into weird positions!!! Grin

How is Mole today Brian? Better? Worse? Same?

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 11:57

Brickie - Nemo's post arrived, thank you so very much!! The Justin Fletcher DVD he loves already! Not got it but seen it.

Thank you! xxx

Look Brian, someone remembered to post something to me! Grin

Of to hydro and physio. Later lushies xxx

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 11/11/2010 12:26

DS is better HmmConfused

OK it's a toss up between Mouse and Bitter... who's having what for pudding? Grin Pudding always is the deciding factor for me...

And I know Dubs has Banana bread so I could fly over and finish off over there... Smile

Do you and MrM do 'it' in weird positions whilst watching JK then Mouse? Grin Kinky!

BrianAndHisBalls · 11/11/2010 12:26

miitz Grin

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/11/2010 12:40

Mittz, we don't really do pudding.

DD is finally asleep.

I have just troughed 3 slices of pate on toast and a packet of snow bites. Blush

Grin fantastic Brian. xx

Well, finally had the call for Nemo to go into hospital for tests.

December 7th. DECEMBER 7TH!!! So between now and then, whilst his Gastro Cons is sunning himself somewhere wonderful, my son is left to puke and puke and puke.

You can imagine how the conversation with his secretary went.

Anyway, how are we all? Old and grey haired? Grin

Physio was fun Hmm and I now have 6 weeks of intensive treatment. Except for the (8th Dec when I'm in with Nemo) but he is going to start getting me into the gym to try and work my muscles. I have lost a lot of muscle bulk and definition and in turn, building that back up will help my legs and stability.

Nurse has just called to say that Nemo is to be put on meds in the interim. Cross your fingers that they work for him. Smile

LollipopViolet · 11/11/2010 15:22

Hope everyone's alright today :)

I've found out the uni's trip to France for a film festival has been cancelled for the 2nd year in a row :(

Not happy, can students not stop drinking so much so they can save for these things? We've known since September!

Plus side, I'm off to the ice hockey on Sunday :) Gotta love being friends with one of your instructors.

Went to the gym, was achy after, not so bad now but will probably feel it in the morning!

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 15:27

Hey LV Smile

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/11/2010 15:36

Mouse that is utter shite. I hate the fact that you and Nemo are being let down again and again.

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 16:54

I know. I said to his nurse about camping out on the ward until someone does something and she said it's pointless.

That's what I find the hardest to take, the fact that there are things that can help him now but due to shite equipment, lack of staff, consultants taking 3 fucking weeks' holiday at a time, children are left waiting around, all the time still suffering from whatever condition it is they have.

You can bet your arse that if it were their child, thibgs would be very different.....

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 11/11/2010 17:12

You are not wrong mouse. Angry

When does it look like he will have his surgery then?

Mouseface · 11/11/2010 17:15

God only knows, they have to go through a load of tests first to 'justify' operating.

The doctors have just called to say that the hospital have faxed the order through for his meds. One will be there tomorrow, the other is made to order so won't be til next week.

But, at least they have it now.
