Nemo's nurse has been, v happy with him and says the lack of sleep is most likely a phase.

She suggested me having a night off, to sleep in another room and leave MrM to deal with Nemo.

Just suggested it to him. Not happy. Was asked why! FFS.

Why? Because I am flagging here mate. Nemo was up from just before 1am to 6am again last night.

This is bloody killing me! That's why.

She said she'd be reluctant to give him meds at this stage.

Sorry, rant over.

How are we all today?

Mittz - is DD better?

SAF - how is Brian?

Brian - how are you?

Bitter - are you in work today or do you get your three days off?

Double - mwah!!

Hey TC and Uno and 100 and Alice if you're around.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/09/2010 12:02

Glad Nemo's nurse is happy Mouse. Would you like me to come and kick MrM until he gives you a night off?

Yes to 3 days off - hurrah! And DH is off today so I get to go and see one of my favourite people - CHILD FREE!

Speaking of which, I should probably go and jump in the shower.

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 22/09/2010 12:35

mouse - will share something with you that puts me in a bad light (as always!). DP does everything at night with Mole. We shared a bit in the first few months and of course it wakes me up when she cries, but DP actually gets up, feeds her, winds her etc.

I'm not telling you this to gloat re DP being an angel which he is (at least in in this respect!) but to tell you why this happens.

Basically Im selfish. Id rather sleep than get up (which probably goes for everyone alive I imagine) so because DP does and never complains/mentions it, I let him Blush

If he said to me 'oi lazy arse your turn' then I'd do it. I'm afraid I just get away with whatever he lets me get away with. Do you see what I mean?

So if you actually tel your DH, explain in quite forceful terms how you feel and why, then he will do as the nurse suggests.

If he doesn't, then he is being a pig. I don't care that he might work, his work isn't 24 hours a day and neither should yours be.

Hopefully that made sense Smile

Mouseface · 22/09/2010 12:48

It made perfect sense Brian. Smile

He was not best impressed with her suggestion. He kept saying 'why' and to be fair, I don't have the mindset or energy to fight this today.

Thank you for your support.

I just feel like crying. I may go for a walk. Get some fresh air. And a big bag of chips!! xx
