Morning Smile

Mouse - thank you for the advice and sympathy last night, sorry i didn't reply, battery needed charging on laptop then i got a bit too engrossed in x factor Blush

Saf - glad you had a god night

Double - i like how you have decided exactly how you want to bring up your children and do it that way, reguardless of the shit you get (from their fathers/gossipy people etc) your kids will always apreciate it Smile

Total - we are still thinking of getting a wii, but tbh, we have so many gadgets in our house, i think it will be something that costs a lot but dosn't really get the use.

Bitter - i think you sound a bit like my favourite aunt (she is only 40)She will not be rude, but has a way of making sure people know exactly what she has done for their benefit iyswim?

100 - i used to tetrathlons when i was younger. I hated them!

F much better by bedtme last night and slept quite well. DH taken DD swimming this morning so F and i had a lie in Smile

TotalChaos · 12/09/2010 10:28

oh good glad you had a better night alice. re:wii - I forget your DD is that bit younger than my DS, so probably wouldn't be that into it. I wouldn't in all honesty do what I did, which is buy a Wii in the happy illusion/delusion that it's a substitute for gym membership because of having the wii fit Blush

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/09/2010 11:13

Good morning.

Saf, hope you had a good night, and you are not suffering too much today.

Alice, glad you are catching up on some rest.

Hey to everyone else.

I've not yet watched the X factor, may squeeze it in this afternoon. We are off to Ikea as soon as DD has had her nap.

Hello ladies.

Lazy morning here for me. I have horrid period pains so I'm very sluggish today. And I have a thick head! No booze but a thick head, no fair!! Grin

Alice - good news re F. Glad he got some sleep. Hopefully, the Infacol is working fully now.

Double - Alice is right about your DC. I love the way that you just let them 'be'.

SAF - try and get some rest. Plenty of water and stodge. Snuggle on the sofa with DS and stick a film on.

Bitter - I miss Ikea. I am sad. Grin

Hey TC Smile

Hello Mittz Smile

No cleaning here yet. I have stripped the beds though. Roast beef with all the trimmingsis prepped, off to help DD with her homework. She has SO MUCH!!!

Coffee and painkillers I think.

[BiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuit]

Anyone fancy a bicuit?

She was on top form! By rights we had agreed that for the time being, we would alternate spending Christmas together for sake of DC's, which would mean me spending this one with her and ExIL's Shock

ExBiL is mysogynistic, racist, sexist and a benefit cheating bleep. I have a cunning plan though!

Have I missed anything?

Mouseface · 12/09/2010 13:53

Mittz - shop the fucker or slip something nasty into his drink? Laxatives? Grin

It's quiet here today. Cleaning for me next. Joy!!

Just seen our FB Mouse, we are having roast beef too (or were you trying to hide that from the healthy eating thread Wink)

Thinking i might have a little ride on my horse today. If F is asleep and DD is either happy/asleep.

Sometimes i find weekends quite hard if we are having a quiet one. I love spending time with DH and the kids, but if we are not doing something i feel like we should be, even if it is something like cooking, having friends/family over, having a sort out etc. Does anyone else feel like this? Stupidly though, if DH is working at the weeknd then i feel bored and lonely Hmm Confused

I know what you mean Alice, but I do love pottering weekends, where the kids are about and we are just being.

Mostly I don't waste my head space on thinking about them any more, we are from different planets.

Riding sounds goood Alice.. it is so nice to hear you are doing it again Smile.

Quiet here too Mouse.. Which makes a change from having a house full of kidsSmile.

Upstairs is clean, the shower is unclogged , the beef is in, homework is done, uniform ironed, bedding drying, washer on again, CD cabinet built..........

Think that's it!

Alice - I heart roast beef. Just fancied it today. Plus it's real comfort food which I need at the mo. Balls to my diet, just for one day!!

Back on it tomorrow!!! And a weigh in. Eeekkkk.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.......headstroking.. I likey ID Smile

And crumble... om nom nom!

Haven't been to Ikea for ages Bitter.. you do always spend waaaaaayyyyy more than planned.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/09/2010 17:18

I know Mittz, you stick things in the trolley because they are only a couple of quid and before you know it...

I would willingly make you a cup of builders tea and stroke your head Double, but I feel it wouldn't quite hit the spot. Wink

Alicetheinvisible · 12/09/2010 17:38

Bitter - £100 at ikea is pretty restrained i think!

Double - damn you! Now i need crumble!! (it depends very much on these children whether i can manage to make one!)

I think i am a bit of a feeder, i always feel that a decent meal would sort out all problems Grin
