The title says it all really!! Grin

I'm Mouse, I eat far too much cheese food and need to lose more than I did last week, all thanks to a long weekend away!

So, if you are looking to lose weight, keep off what you've already lost or just want to talk about general bollocks healthy eating etc, this is the thread for you!

Mouse, that's great re the builders. I mean they obviously know what they are doing, bringing their own kettle etc shows experience :)

I'm pretty sure I was going to comment on something someone else wrote, but I have a migraine and am sitting here in a kind of haze. Taken my magic drugs(legal I hasten to add) and hoping that them and the hour's sleep I just had will help make me feel loads better soon.

Mouseface · 06/09/2010 14:16

100 - sorry you have a migraine. Sad

Double - FFS!!!!!! Dust woman! You are allowed DUST!!! Not scrummmy bloody deserts.

Glad you enjoyed your course!

SAF - I go tomorrow to the docs, 4pm.

Hey, that sounds good ID.. I could do with something like that to dip my toe in the water again.

Gah to Migraines 100... 2 1/2 days of my life I have just sort of lost to one. They are crap. Healing vibes >

Glad things seem to be turning a corner SaF. I am swimming up fooking stream again.

Thanks both, it's a little easier now, but I'm still in that haze. I don't know if it's lucky that I have magic drugs or not, having them means the docs have recognised how often and badly I have them, but it also means I get them badly. I also take a preventative, but still getting them!

I need to go to the docs before TTC, need to know what meds I will and won't be able to take if I get pg. Worried as these are super dooper and possibly won't be recommended in pg, also take anti-sickness when I get them which I already know is not given to under 20yo people, so a def no-no in pg. [worried face]

Mouseface · 06/09/2010 15:25

100 - I hope that they can give you decent alternatives. Sorry that you are suffering so badly.

Other than childbirth, there is no pain like migraine pain!!

I'm hungry. I think. Tell me what I can nibble on......

Erm, carrot sticks? Yes, a few of those and another pint of water!!

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 06/09/2010 16:04

Hello all :)

Something tells me I'm not going to get on here as often for a while. My first day was fine, just training out of the office for three days, haven't met anyone I'm working with yet but everyone seems really nice and my panic has abated a little. I keep telling myself it's essentially database filling, and I can do that with my eyes shut (although I probably shouldn't)

Skipped lunch but then ate four pieces of toast to fill the void. I'm hoping the busier I get the less time I'll have to snack Hmm

How is everyone. All I saw was mousey's fab builders. Their own kettle?! WTF? Karma is repaying oyuu by sending builders from heaven!

Love to all of you :)

SAF - glad it went ok at the docs. It sounds as though you have a GP who knows how to prescribe meds properly! Are you happy with what she said? Her plan I mean?

UNO - are you ok? You sound a bit flat lovely!! Tired? How was MiniUNO's first day at the nursery or not home yet?

The NIBs (new and improved builders) have gone and even tidied up after themselves. They are so polite. They don't even pee in the garden like the others!! Shock

I think we may be hanging on to and recommending these boys!!

Saf your gp sounds really good :)

I'd completely forgotten about slim fasts, I'm rubbish at eating in the morning but know I'll be starving by lunch if I don't have something before work. You reminded me that I used to always have a shake for breakfast.

Mousey glad your builders are still exemplary. In case I don't get back good look for ds for tomorrow, fingers crossed for an answer for you all.

I am a bit tired. But I haven't done anything :o

Ds2 had a great first day and describes school as "fun" so that's a good start! And (dare I add a d?) h is just getting dd from her nursery visit. He said she just ran off to play when he got there, so that's brilliant too. Hopefully she's still happy.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 06/09/2010 16:42

Id I'll offer you a swap, but I don't think you'd be any better off! :o

Mouseface · 06/09/2010 16:46

UNO - hospital for DS is next Tuesday. Smile

Glad DS2 had a great day and yes, if you feel like using a 'D' for H then do!!

Hopefully DD will have had fun too. They will both sleep tonight!! Grin

Nowt wrong with that saf :). Give him a big hug.

Feeling absolutely wiped now. I could have killed h for clambering over me to go to the loo at 3am this morning. He knows I find it hard to get back to sleep if I'm woken, all he had to do was walk round the bed, oh and not slam the door Hmm. Ah well, I'll forgive him just his once :o

Next time I'm 'aving his testicles for earrings!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/09/2010 18:46

Evening all. Work was not bad at all. Smile

I cheated on the Dukan and had chicken salad for lunch - forgot my pack up.

About to have turkey and cottage chhese for dinner, so I have not eaten badly, just not done the Dukan. I'm at home tomorrow though so it will be easier.

Off to cook dinner then will catch up properly xx

mittz · 06/09/2010 18:48

Have really just finished work ...

House is full of children and I just feel like pottering in the kitchen. Threw some pringles and a packet of digestives at them in the hope they would eat and bugger off go out to play but fat chance. They are like cats - they know I don't like them!

Testicle earrings sound quite nice.. they are very tactile aren't they? One could fondle them whilst contemplating the state of the universe HmmBlushGrin
