FluffyCut · 24/08/2010 17:47

So Im pissed off enough over my legal thread and then I go back to that thread from yesterday which had us all in tears and apparently its all our fault she hasnt come back because we were discussing ss/police etc to provide safety for her dds, according to some idiotic poster.

PS - Yo Crunchy!!!!!

Mouseface · 24/08/2010 17:49

Shock Fluffs!! Your daughter goes to a private school?

Kidding! Fuck 'em! So what? Most of the comments that you'll get are born out of jealousy.

As long as she is happy then so what? That's your right and your choice, no?

Thanks you lot. Didn't realise it wasn't common knowledge, suppose no reason for it to come up really.

DD has gone to a private nursery, which is attached to a private school, since she was 6 months old. Exh and I made a decision together to keep her there all through to 18. Unfortunately, in spite of a court order he refuses to pay his half of the bills now.

Molly will go there too. That's why I live where I do (ask Bitter, we had a 'who lives in the shittest place' contest on fb the other day!), have a car from my parents and never go abroad. I know its not a choice everyone either can or even wants to make. We are lucky in that by giving up everything else, with a lot of help from my parents, we can (just) afford it.

As she (dd1) gets older we're fucked cos the fees increase loads. I'll put Mousey on the game, and Double, and be their pimp Grin

TotalChaos · 24/08/2010 18:00

ack. a poster wants safe and anonymous, call the samaritans from a payphone. Have steered clear of the thread fluffy, as it looked like vast nos of people were saying what needed saying.

as for private school debate. I'm too skint to consider it for DS - I know people who aren't, c'est la vie. but then I send DS to a school most MNetters (in fact most people on my street(!) run a mile from) the only thing that makes me a bit queasy is the schools that are highly selective at ridiculous young ages, like 4.

Mouseface · 24/08/2010 18:05

Oooooo - a new carer!! Grin

Total - I think you're right re that thread, I'll probably duck out soon as I dont know what else to say really Sad

As for the school, we'd never even considered private, my brother and I both went comp and both went to good uni's so never really thought if it. Then when dd started nursery there it was so lovely we really wanted her to stay. We chatted to a friend who teaches in this area and she said she's rather die Shock then send her child to our local school, we looked at ofsted and it was horrendous... so we decided to leave her where she was.

I do get upset over it, when I think other people don't get that choice and I do think that's deeply unfair, but (and this is hypocritical obviously) I feel like Id be sacrificing my dd on my principles if I sent her to that local school seriously. Argh, its a nightmare Sad I've outed myself now as a private schooler

In for a penny, in for a pound - AND I QUITE LIKE SAUSAGE ROLLS FROM GREGGS ACTUALLY AND MY DD HAS FRUITSHOOTS AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH, AND CURRENTLY HAS TWO FAKE FAIRY TATTOOS! BEAT THAT! (the 5 yr old not the baby! Grin)

FluffyCut · 24/08/2010 18:08

you're my bitch now Mouse Grin

Mouseface · 24/08/2010 18:14

Fluffs - Love Greggs sausage rolls, the jumbo ones are best! DD has H20 Fruit Shoots in her packed lunch so five a week and sometimes a kitkat. Oh, and the last feed that DS was given by the hospital was made by Nestle too.
