People can be weird can't they? DC's Dad took parts of different sets of duvets when he left. It's no biggy but I don't have a complete set of anything and I am just Hmm about stuff like that. He comes occasionally with an empty bag and leaves with a full one, and I am too wimpy to just ask what has gone. I'd just like the courtesy of of him mentioning it IYSWIM.

Alice, I understand about your Mum frustrating you.. My mum and Dad don't help much but TBH where my Dad is concerned, I'd rather not as I always feel completely demoralised once he has gone.

Hey Bitter sweetie.. how is it?

And you SaF... Why do people do stuff like that? I spend half my life considering how my actions impact on people so it isn't that hard. My DC's 'love' people very easily and you have to be so careful for them..

I am OKish. Finished most of my work for now. I have a nice note book and am writing Haiku poetry.. it is short and easy to express things simple whilst being creative Smile

This day better than the last
I hope.....Summer's blush
Echoes faded dreams.

Smile

My father invited a boy friend I had decided I didn't want to see to live with us. He had a violent criminal record. I hated it. I was about 18 I think. Some folk are so completely self absorbed. Your sister sounds a little like that. Not even deliberately, it is just their way on life.

Mittz - I agree with SAF. Why does he feel that he can wander around your home and take things. And not tell you too.

Sorry, that is none of my business.

I love what you have written BTW. Very calming.............

SAF - I thought it may be friends too. And that they would all be male.

BITTER - Do you love your hair? Is it gorgeous? Piccy please. Smile

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 13/08/2010 13:36

Mitts that is Shock

I know what you mean saf, I seem to spend half my life thinking on how desicions I make will affect other people, while there are so many that just look out for number 1.

I chickened out of the fringe, may get that cut in at a later date.

I do like it , although it hasn't magically made me look a stone lighter and 10 years younger, unfortunately!

Will get Saf to take a pic, there is no-one here that can do that atm.

Mouseface · 13/08/2010 13:48

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 13/08/2010 13:49

Well, the fact that I'm gorgeous was never in dispute. Wink

SAF - do you want another DC? I'd love to have another. Not going to happen though. Sad

Hmm, do you have a gay friend that you could ask to ahem, do a solo sheet shuffle? And maybe bring you a pot full!!? Grin

Dinner sounds lush! We're on homemade chicken curry and non-alcoholic Becks for me!! Can't have curry without a beer!!

Will do SAF. I drank it when I was pg with DS. A little bit more sour than normal Becks but I put a splash of lemonade in it anyway and it was fine.

Just gives my brain the impression I'm chilling with a curry and a beer even though I'm not actually drinking!! Grin

TotalChaos · 13/08/2010 17:46

saf - there was an article in last week's Grazia on the very topic of obtaining sperm - some website that (for a small fee, natch) let's you contact blokes who want to donate. tone of the article was very much a warning one, as apparently you should watch for blokes just offering sperm as they want a shag (!)

mittz · 13/08/2010 18:01

Really TC.. blokes just wanting 'a shag'!! How ermm...unethical..where did you say the article was? GrinWink

Lol at getting sperm from a 'penis' Grin

DC's have gone. Feels a bit weird today. We are ticking a long so nicely.

Thought about going to the cinema tomorrow to see Step Up. Dance thingy but DS would KILL me for going alone. Biscuit

TotalChaos · 13/08/2010 18:10

double! bitter! you will be pleased to know you made the weekly talk round up Grin

mittz - I know, I was very Hmm at the warning tone of the article!

Mouseface · 13/08/2010 18:27

Mittz - can you go on Monday? And maybe a nice lunch out with the DCs? Are the back to be with you?
