I'm here. Watched telly, had a bath, tried to get comfortable and sleep but couldn't so back up again. You would think that lying down would be the comfiest position for a woman of 40 (yes 40!) weeks pregnant wouldn't you? It is not. My bump doesn't like it. Plus it is too hot.

Lizzylou · 10/08/2010 07:50

MOrning
Have had a crap night's sleep and ache all over as I think I did too much at the gym.

I am making a concerted effort not to be on MN so much (especially now there are two threads) and trying to pay DH more attention in the evenings, so have not abandoned you (you are all too hot), OK ????? Grin

I had some v low fat yoghurt and strawberries last night instead of biscuits, honestly all this exercise and willpower, why I am still a wobbly biffer?

How are you Mittz?

Alicetheinvisible · 10/08/2010 08:02

You are hot too Lizzy, stop stressing about imaginary wobbly bits!

I am most definitely not hot today. Thought i was doing ok, still sleeping etc, but two nights of crap sleep and being sore has taken it's toll, i am now on the way to being fed up!

Lizzylou · 10/08/2010 08:07

Bless you Alice.

YOu had that baby yet? Grin Wink

Luckily (for both of us) the boys didn't wake until 6.15am, I couldn't get my head off the pillow until DH brought up my cup of coffee (and it was my turn to make the coffee).

I am just whacked today, really, really tired.

Alicetheinvisible · 10/08/2010 08:14

Lizzy - i was teasing, i was never really pregnant Wink

Lizzylou · 10/08/2010 08:15

Beeatch!

Grin
Alicetheinvisible · 10/08/2010 08:18

Yes, because you can probably run faster than me Grin

My DS is absolutely gooey over babies. I show him baby albums on FB when he is stressy because they a trigger 'soft' emotions.

I have had a hormonal paddy. There is no one about but I had one anyway.

Have had special K and a banana for breakfast.

TotalChaos · 10/08/2010 09:16

Morning all! Am round less as am usually out and about in the day with DS and late evening I erm have a new DS game that I am hooked on, so usually play that in bed rather than go on the laptop Blush. It's Dragonquest BlushBlush

Mittz - sorry your DS is having such a tough time.

Lizzy - yes, I feel your pain re:plateau. I lost 4 lbs in about 3 days through stress recently, but apart from that I'm struggling a bit, but I am v. lazy about exercise. Well it's not just laziness, I am finding myself v. achey with all this rain/humidity, I found it much easier to exercise before summer. Still, I have lost nearly 3 stone now, so there's a v. visible difference. Apart from the frigging double chin Angry

mittz · 10/08/2010 09:22

Thanks TC, I am hoping the more he deals with it now, the less baggage he will take with him as he grows up. It has really upset me today though. I feel very emotional and lost.

TotalChaos · 10/08/2010 09:42

Mittz (squish). it must be better for him to be talking, talking and talking it out than bottling up, as bottling up turns things to either aggression or anger against oneself.

mittz · 10/08/2010 09:58

Absolutely TC.. we all know too well the damage repressing stuff does.

DD is back and they are snuggled together Smile

Alicetheinvisible · 10/08/2010 10:15

Mittz - how is DS with animals? When i used to work at a riding school we had 11/12/13yr olds 'helping' out on a weekend and during the holidays and they actually learnt loads, had chance to bond with the ponies and was generally lovely.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 10/08/2010 10:24

Morning. Smile

I have had the best nights sleep. I feel very perky this morning.

Alice - Today's the day! Grin

Lots to do, so shout if you see me on here too much.

Lizzy and TC - Of course I didn't think you had a bandoned us, I was in a funny mood last night - I ended up rescuing SGB from MNHQ. Grin

Mittz, sorry DS is having such a tough time. Did you have any sweet dreams last night?

OP posts:
Mouseface · 10/08/2010 10:28

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

Alice - I am sorry that you are feeling shiter by the hour!! Bless you.

Mittz - so sorry to hear that DS is struggling and that you feel lost. xx

Lizzy - you lie like a cheap Japanese watch, you don't really want to spend time with DH, you just don't love us anymore do you? Do you? Wink

Double - not long now then until they go back to school? I hope the cash point is kind to you.

SAF - I love the Mittz & Mouse show!! Wink

TC - well done on the total loss! I've lost a whole pound! Grin

Bitter - oh, wait, you're not here yet....... Grin

Has Fluffs been here of late? May have to fb her ass!

What was I doing at 2-5.30am? No, not that, smut! I was begging DS to go to sleep. We took him for his jabs yesterday, popped out whilst PIL were here, and he had 2! One in each leg. Why is it that no amount of Calpol actually helps with jabs?

Anyway, Shredding again later and housework and coffee, Nescafe Blend 37. Yum!!!

Mouseface · 10/08/2010 10:33

Christ, X posted with you Bitter.

Sorry, here, have a snog xx

Alicetheinvisible · 10/08/2010 10:51

Bitter, you may be right! Although i think it will be tomorrow
