Double - it's weird, we have the same inflection and we both speak very quickly.

When we used to both live at home we would have conversations for ages with each others friends until the penny dropped that the call wasn't for us.

evening ladies, been out most of day visiting friend in Brum, my it's a big city, and it makes me appreciate the aesthetic merits of Manchester a bit more now

gigi - will check out vid when on a faster computer. this low carb diet malarkey seems to involve cutting out mucho fruit and veg as well as obvious things like bread/pasta etc.

TC - I agree with the comment on Manc v's Brum!! Brum is very grotty in places!!

I am very fond of Brum, but when I went back there in May was by how much it has changed.

Mind you, I heart Manchester too, just never lived there.

Saf - you need to eat lots of turkey - it contains tryptophans [sp?] which are natural sedatives - and you know they are happy birds.

You have probably all gone to bed, but wanted to drop by and say hi . I have in no way abandoned you, but the job i have been working on has been rather crazy and have been commuting to London most days (5hr round trip). All very interesting though and nice to dust off the brain and turn the rusty cogs a bit

Anyway, hope you are all good (and lighter ) and i shall try and come on at the weekend as we are at a wedding most of the day tomorrow

I like Manchester and Birmingham, grew up going to Brum as only 20miles away, then wanted to move to Manchester as loved The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays now am about 20miles from Manc land.
