How the blazes do I update?

I've tried through iTunes but it says:

"This version of iTunes (9.1.1) is the current version"

I really don't think my iPhone has updated to the new version, looks the same to me.

Help..?

Only took 13 hours.

There are reports that if the new v4.0 is installed on an Apple 3G it really slows down.

Therefore if you have a iPhone 3G I would advise you hold off on upgrading your software. Feel free to upgrade but be ready for some performance degradation.

With any upgrades its usually worth waiting a week or so to see if any major issues surface before going ahead.

Tbh, it only has to last another couple of weeks till I get my new iPhone. Contract due to be renewed next month, and not before time.

I have the right iTunes and clicked install but it was stuck on the back up your phone bit for about 4 hours so I cancelled it. Have a 3G though so might leave it.
Am not special enough to O2 to get my 4 phone delivered and am defo not going to queue outside the shop tomorrow!

If you have more than one email account you now have the option of looking at all emails together or you can still look at them separately if you prefer.

Do you have to download iBooks separately? I had to for the iPad.

I think I'm going to skip the upgrade for now for my 3G -since I got the iPad I don't use it for much except the iPod & phone - the apps are so much better on the iPad. 4.0 comes to the ipad in the autumn, so I'll probably wait till then & decide if there's any point putting it on the phone.

Or I might try to persuade Dh to get me an iphone 4 for Christmas....

oh, is it normal that it has to restore from backup? I hope that mine was backed up ok.

Tap the screen when you switch on the camera and you will have the option of zooming.

Mine is still backing up iphone I really want to go to bed too, should i leave it on?

The app folders, how do you do that?

Mine says "restoring phone from backup, time remaining: 7 mins"

Hold your finger on an app until it goes all wiggly then drag it on top of an app that you want to put in the same folder. You've now created a folder and can put 12 apps in it.

Is anyone from MNHQ watching? Is this where we moan about a MN app? Since there are so many of us on here with iPhones.
