Can't get onto a site I use all the time. It's not down. What's wrong?

Why the blethering feck can't I access blardy livejournal?

LJ was subject to an attack this week, same as FB, Twitter and something else. I have noticed it being slow and not always loading properly and taking ages to loads.

It does seem to be working for me at the moment though. I'm guessing you can get on other websites with no problems?

All other websites fine. Nobody else having problems getting onto lj. Just me.

Even downloaded an updated version of IE to see if it helps.

There has been a subtle change caused by the upgrade I must admit. Instead of saying 'this page cannot be displayed' it says 'Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage'. Brilliant.

Okay, the problem is that service to your ISP has been suspended. There is a way round this - use an anonymiser service which bounces your request through another server. Hang on I'll post a link.

Downloaded illegal anonywhatsit. Tried to run, enter details, click next says 'your trial has expired' and sends me back to the beginning. I haven't started my trial unless my free trial was a 3 second tease. And it forced me to change my screen resolution before it would download so everything's fecking squashed.

Where are my damn shoes TMAM. I'm getting tetchy.

The option to change back to my original screen resolution has gone. I can have stretched or more stretched. And I'm on a netbook so can't see half the bloody page.
