Please tell me how to make a word that opens a link!

Ok, badly explained title, but if you've got this far you might be able to help Wink.

Please could you tell me how to add a link to my MN messages in which the reader just has to press a single word and the link opens?

E.g. In my post I write: "This is the kind of furniture I like."

The reader presses the word 'this' and the furniture link opens.

You do two square open brackets then type in the web address then leave a single space then type the single word you want to show in your message then do two square close brackets

Does that work everywhere (e.g. In emails) or just on mumsnet?

I think it's just mumsnet but you can insert a hyperlink into an email and the change the text that shows on the email - sorry, I haven't explained that very well.
