MN keeps crashing - any ideas?

I use Internet Explorer - I find Chrome crashes all the time. Hate Firefox.

I've noticed lately that Mumsnet keeps crashing - it crashed twice in the time it took me to type this in.

A message appears saying IE has trouble with the site, then either MN just disappears or I have to click Close on the message.

I've tried it in Firefox and the same thing keeps happening.

I have had a virus which I've now fixed.

Any ideas?

Is it just MN that crashes or other wbsites as well?I would download Malwarebytes, its free and will scan and delete malware your anti virus wont find.

It's just MN. Thanks, I'll try this.

Maybe your browser settings dont like the ads,you could try adblock adblock chrome
adblock firefox

Thanks, I'll try that, too. Separate to this I keep getting a suspicious pop up asking whether I want to run something or other - I keep clicking cancel but up it comes again. I've downloaded the program you recommended so hopefully that'll flag something up and then I'll do the adblock thingy!

Thanks for all your help.

Just read this threadwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/1827397-Anyone-else-being-asked-to-save-a-file-called-seg-js,might be the cause of your problem.

Thanks, that's exactly what was popping up. Have answered on that thread, too.
