Would having an iPad and an iPhone be overkill?

I have an iPhone at the moment and hardly ever bother switching the PC on at home now because I use the phone for virtually everything. I'm thinking that as I use my iPhone most of the time as opposed to the PC, it would be useful to have the bigger iPad screen for when I'm at home. DH thinks I'm nuts. I on the other hand think it's a v sensible idea! Who's right?

Techno have discovered this already! Gave DS1(13)my old 3GS last week when I got my new 4S, suddenly discovered a new app called "Free Sex Positions" on my new phone Hmm

Called DS in, said "just to let you know that with the new iCloud thing, any app that you, DH or I download appears on everyone's phones - you haven't downloaded any app you wouldn't want me to see have you?" - the look on his face as it slowly dawned on him was priceless, I had to laugh! He was mortified and deleted it pretty quickly, suspect he'll think twice in future! Grin

I have no trouble filling my 32gb Ipad (mostly with series on the Iplayer)so if I were you I'd get the 64gb one. As you say, you can never have too much space.

Update: have just ordered a 64gb one! I was going to go for the 32 but then discovered nearly £80 of unused Tesco vouchers which neatly covered the price difference between the 32 and the 64 so I felt that was a sign....

It arrives on Tuesday so I have between now and then to browse the myriad of covers and accessories I might need [hgrin]. Thanks all for your views and advice.
