Best beer for slugs….?

A few years ago I tried to set a slug trap with very nasty cheap stuff. The slugs were not interested at all. I’ve tried again with good beer, and have been rewarded with many customers.

What beer are you serving?

Thanks to the pp on info re toads and frogs… we do have loads of fhose as my garden is pretty boggy.
do even more reason to use a natural deterrent rather than a chemical solution….
I feel a hypocrite protecting frogs and toads, but willing to murder slugs 🫣
if slugs left my produce alone, I wouldn’t kill them either.
oh dear, I hope I don’t get my “come uppence”, come the day of St Peter 😩
