@TheSpottedZebra it is a clematis. The flowers are beautiful but the stem looks really sickly! I think the flowers completely sap all its strength!

Lovely gardens everyone

Just been out in the sunshine doing a bit of clearing up. Everything is thriving in the sun and even the shady areas are looking good

@Proudboomer - what is that gorgeous pink flowering shrub called? It is exactly what I am looking for!

It is a rhododendron. Quite mature as it was already in the garden when we moved in 10 years ago

I've just had to run out and bring my washing in after it started chucking it down! Bloody rainy Devon

Although my grass is heaving with tiny sparrows hopping about looking for food so that makes up for it a bit.

It rained in Swansea, a proper downpour. My vegetable beds have now had a good watering after planting out over the last few days. It's clearing up now and still warm.

@Knittedfairies I'm going to take inspiration from your lovely bed. What are those tall purple flowers?

I have aquilegia self seeding around the garden. I think it's very cheerful looking.
