It's lovely! But very scorchio!

What is the tall pink flower?

fluffedup · 02/06/2021 11:27

I want one of those shady umbrella things.

RIPwalter · 02/06/2021 11:30

@RIPwalter I want to come live at your house! That view is stunning!

3orangekissesfromkazan · 02/06/2021 11:36

@TheSpottedZebra it is a clematis. The flowers are beautiful but the stem looks really sickly! I think the flowers completely sap all its strength!

Lovely gardens everyone Smile

Just been out in the sunshine doing a bit of clearing up. Everything is thriving in the sun and even the shady areas are looking good

@Proudboomer - what is that gorgeous pink flowering shrub called? It is exactly what I am looking for!

Proudboomer · 02/06/2021 12:05

It is a rhododendron. Quite mature as it was already in the garden when we moved in 10 years ago

I've just had to run out and bring my washing in after it started chucking it down! Bloody rainy Devon Grin

Although my grass is heaving with tiny sparrows hopping about looking for food so that makes up for it a bit.

Somuchchoice · 02/06/2021 12:11

@Proudboomer - thank you, it really is stunning!

ApolloandDaphne · 02/06/2021 12:12

Lovely here too on the east coast of Scotland but a little breezy. Not scorching but pleasant

Nuggetnugget · 02/06/2021 16:31

These are beautiful. I will add some photos

TroysMammy · 02/06/2021 16:31

It rained in Swansea, a proper downpour. My vegetable beds have now had a good watering after planting out over the last few days. It's clearing up now and still warm.

userxx · 02/06/2021 22:42

@Knittedfairies I'm going to take inspiration from your lovely bed. What are those tall purple flowers?

Howshouldibehave · 02/06/2021 22:46

Loving the photos!

WhistlersandJugglers · 02/06/2021 22:46

I have aquilegia self seeding around the garden. I think it's very cheerful looking.
