@WhistlersandJugglers

I have aquilegia self seeding around the garden. I think it's very cheerful looking.
My Mum has these in her garden Such beautiful flowers and remind me of my childhood

It's been wet here and I really need to do some weeding but the aquilegia are happy. I love the range of colour involving zero effort from me.

@userxx; the tall purple flowers are irises (Iris sibirica 'Persimmon' - very easy to grow)

I really like the shape of the big bed @Tumbleweed101. It adds a lot of interest to the garden.

@Knittedfairies thank you. What is the shrub with the pink flowers ? It's so pretty. When I said I was taking inspiration from your bed, I meant copying!!

Knittedfairies · 03/06/2021 22:59

@userxx - the pink shrub is a common peony.

Knittedfairies · 03/06/2021 23:01

Oh, maybe you meant the pink cranesbill next to the peony... It seeds itself everywhere and is a good filler. Ditto the perennial cornflowers.

userxx · 04/06/2021 08:07

@Knittedfairies Yes, the cranesbill, its a perfect filler, thank you! Will make a trip to the garden centre this weekend.

Lovely photos, it's great to see different gardens. I love aqilegia's too, it brightens up the shady spots and the bees love them.
