Stone walled dyke

I'm a lazy gardener with not much time. I have a stone walled Duke I'd like to transform. What can I grow that is colourful in the little gaps in the wall? I like the wild-butterfly garden type look. Any suggestions? The cheaper the better! Thank you.

Nope. Dyke is also the correct spelling. As if it's not bad enough I realise that I've posted this twice. Sorry everyone.

Campanula seems to do well, purple bell shaped flowers.
