Hopefully this thread will appear on TIO! Grin No need to use it til our old thread is done, but at least we have it for when we are ready.

UCAS send an email to the student once school have sent the final application, with track log in details etc.

doistayordoigo · 14/10/2017 10:36

Thanks, I assumed that would be the case, school said they'd be looking at it yesterday, but haven't had an email yet. I read somewhere that the track login details come by post?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 14/10/2017 17:44

Dois is your ds early entry? If not you may find school have been prioritising them as the deadline is tomorrow.

OP posts:
doistayordoigo · 14/10/2017 22:25

No he's not early entry, but his school are pretty on the ball...early entries have already been done, and the school deadline for everyone else was yesterday.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 14/10/2017 22:26

wow! impressive :)

Well done Shanghais ds.
Ds1 has started to hear from unis. Some have been holding/welcome emails saying they have received his application, some have asked for information to be forwarded.
Knitting what are you planning to do?

Icouldbeknitting · 15/10/2017 16:24

My act of contrition was to go through the calendar to next September and put in all the term dates. DS has got it all organised, I found the booking (dated early July) and he's taking that in and has to get permission from each teacher for the absence. We'll see how that goes.

LoniceraJaponica · 15/10/2017 16:49

"and the school deadline for everyone else was yesterday."

Wow. At DD's school the deadline is Christmas.

UrsulaPandress · 16/10/2017 05:41

I'm not sure dd has a deadline.

Nothing got done on the plane as she slept all the way.

I didn't.

HesMyLobster · 16/10/2017 07:43

Glad you’re there safely Ursula - have a wonderful holiday!

I think Christmas is the deadline at DD’s school too.

ShanghaiDiva · 16/10/2017 08:23

Have a lovely holiday Ursula!
Am very envious as it's grey and wet here today.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 16/10/2017 15:37

first offer for dd today. She seems distinctly underwhelmed by it.

chocolateworshipper · 16/10/2017 16:48

Congratulations knitting

Have a great time ursula

OhYouBadBadKitten · 16/10/2017 17:03

Grin chocolate, do you mean Kitten?

OP posts:
OhYouBadBadKitten · 16/10/2017 17:04

or knitting Blush don’t mind me

OP posts:
chocolateworshipper · 16/10/2017 19:15

Actually I did mean you kitten !! I'm going to blame it on my laryngitis (and hope no-one realises that it only stops you speaking out loud)

MsAwesomeDragon · 16/10/2017 19:39

Congratulations Kitten.

Dd has booked her driving test. It's in 3 weeks time.

Icouldbeknitting · 16/10/2017 19:47

It had to be you kitten because I haven't done anything to be congratulated on. Hopefully that will change tomorrow if DS gets two more signatures on his permission form and gets me off the hook for booking half term events in term time. I can be congratulated then on raising a child who can sort things out for himself.

I have a stinking headache and feel rough. Half term can't come quickly enough for me.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 16/10/2017 19:56

Grin I thought you might be being congratulated for filling in your calendar Knitting! I hope you and chocolate both feel better soon.

OP posts:
HesMyLobster · 16/10/2017 20:01

Yay! Congratulations to Kitten’s DD on the offer!
(And to Knitting for the calendar! Wink)

Where’s it from?^^ I’m just nosy!

HesMyLobster · 16/10/2017 20:02

Where’s the offer from I mean, not the calendar! Grin
(Although I’m sure it’s a very nice calendar . . !)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 16/10/2017 20:30

lol!
I’ll pm just in case dd has told all her friends. I’m slightly paranoid about them spotting that dd has a bonkers mother Grin

doistayordoigo · 16/10/2017 23:02

DS's form has been returned by the school as apparently we've forgotten to put one of his AS levels results on and also an A level...first attempt failed Grin Apparently he's supposed to put both maths and further maths as separate options, whereas he'd only put further maths.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 17/10/2017 07:38

Oh no doi! At least school spotted it.

OP posts:
HesMyLobster · 17/10/2017 07:44

Phew! Thank goodness school spotted it!
There’s a thread on here about a girl who received 5 rejections last year because she’d entered her grades wrong and to a computer it looked like she didn’t have GCSE English!
