Has anyone else heard the rumour going around that the DE are wanting to get rid of every MQ so that we would all have to buy/rent houses in the area we were posted to? Apparently (so the rumour goes) once the lease is up with Annington, then they will hand them all the houses back.

We live in a grade 1 property (lucky as as they are all built in the last 5 years), and they are getting handed back in 20 years time (the DE have a 25 year lease on them). Wouldn't surprise us if they did that, but we couldn't afford to pay the going rate for a house this size (4 bed detatched). What would happen if we all went onto the council housing list instead lol. That would bugger the Government up wouldn't it.
