Blandmum · 18/06/2007 17:42

Most people with contact with the forces would understand the phrase 'The Married Patch' or just 'The Patch'

JustineMumsnet · 18/06/2007 17:42

Challenge you to think of something better - stumped us here at MN Towers - but as ever, dear members, we are open to suggestions and very grateful for your guidance...

Meansleeves · 18/06/2007 17:43

barrack babes

Blandmum · 18/06/2007 17:44

in the past the RAF used to call the wives 'Self loading freight' but that doesn't really coujour up the right immage.

'the march in' Should also ring bells for those in the know.

mylastrolo · 18/06/2007 17:44

mylastrolo · 18/06/2007 17:47

boomie · 18/06/2007 18:01

mylastrolo- for those of us "in the know", there is no such thing as a "golden labrador", they are called "yellow labradors"

boomie · 18/06/2007 18:01
