I really need a good recipe for roasted cat. If not roasted, then fried would be OK.

PMSL I have just printed out a copy of the recipe for "roast cat as you wish to eat it" and given it to my next door neighbour, only 1/2 an hour ago I was telling her that I was going to be on the look-out for her 2 cats which keep pi**ing on my grass and god help them when I catch them.
I can still hear the disgust and horror in her voice as she read the recipe.

I thought it was rather a good recipe, actually. Was there too much garlic in it for her?

If the sparrow doesn't survive, would it be OK to put it in the cat's mouth for decoration?

Think it was the bit about decapitating it

We have a big seagull problem around here, I wonder if it would be good for them too? or should I just go with the chicken recipes??

WigWamBam · 20/05/2005 13:30

If the seagulls are big enough, I should think you could use the same recipe. Chicken recipes wouldn't be quite right, there's not enough meat on a pigeon.

??

WigWamBam · 20/05/2005 13:34

What's the problem, flashingnose? I thought it was a reasonably straightforward and easily understood question.

OP posts:
flashingnose · 20/05/2005 13:34

But I thought you had a cat [confused emoticon]?

Enid · 20/05/2005 13:35

I think wwb is trying to be funny

flashingnose · 20/05/2005 13:36

oh. sorry.

WigWamBam · 20/05/2005 13:37

I have got a cat. I would just like some recipes for roasting her.

Obviously not succeeding, hey Enid?

In Ye Oldene Dayes there was apparently a delicacy involving roasting and carving a goose while it was still alive. I'm sure it could be adapted for cats.

Kelly1978 · 20/05/2005 16:35

Surely u can jsut shallow fry it like this

elibelly · 20/05/2005 16:36

if the cat's not fat enough to eat you could always stuff it with sweeties, tie it to a tree branch, give dd and friends a stick and hey presto instant pinata

Fried Cat" Parody by PeckNDiddy (to sing while u are cooking)

lol....... just the 2nd of our great chinese parodies!

Somebody once told me I'm gonna fry your kitty
The only cat I found that was dead
He was looking kind of dumb took his fingers and his thumb
And he squeezed off those little cat heads

Well the cats start frying and they don't stop frying
See all the little cat heads go flyin
Didn't make sense not to fry for fun
The Brain is rare but the Head's well done

So much to cook so much to eat
So what's wrong with grillin some cat meat
You'll never know if you drive slow
Run over it in the road

[Chorus:]
Meow It's a fried cat, get the sauce on, go eat
Meow I'ts a grilled cat, get the grill on, cat meat
And all that kitties is gold
Only speeding cars put it out cold

It's a food place and they say it stays open
Chang and Wong are in the back dopin'
But General Chow's gettin fatter
Eatin all the cat on his meow meow platter

This stuff tastes good, dont even try to lie
The grease is getting warm so you might as well fry
My cat's on fire how about yours
That's the way I like it and I'll eat some more

[Repeat Chorus 2x]

Somebody once asked can we get some Chinese fast
I need to get some kitty onto my plate
I said yep what a concept
I could eat a little cat myself
Lets go get some cat at China Chaaaaaang's

Well the cats start frying and they don't stop frying
See all the little cat heads go flyin
Didn't make sense not to fry for fun
The Brain is rare but the head's well done

So much to cook so much to eat
So what's wrong with grillin some cat meat
You'll never know if you drive slow
Run over it in the road

[Repeat Chorus]

SERIOUS WARNING...

Do NOT Google "Cat Recipes" - like I did for a joke - or you get (from strong stomachs only) this!

Sorry - did warn you!

happymerryberries · 20/05/2005 21:57

Cats and rabbits are anatomicaly very similar, so I would just adapt some rabbit recipies, with some catnip on the side

LGJ · 20/05/2005 22:08

Milli

You weren't joking.................

Just as well that I am the sort of person who could throw a football at a cat...........

Can't really have an open fire though, I don't think it would go down well if the four year olds ended up on the fire as well ... do you think it would work if I rolled the cat in mud and put it in the microwave?

OP posts:
elibelly · 20/05/2005 23:08

I wouldn't use the microwave, look what happened to the Gremlins for goodness sake!! You'd be cleaning that mess for weeks

Mud · 20/05/2005 23:26

what about "chat a la footbal"?
