What are your least favourite cooking smells?

Salmon

Oyster sauce

Mince when it first goes in the pan if there are no onions or anything else there. Fine once it's mostly cooked.

Lamb

Onions

Any fish, bacon, beef, chorizo, chicken and anything being deep fried.

Cumin

Lamb.
Fatty, unsmoked ‘caff’ bacon.

Anything fried, the smell just lingers for ages.

I once cooked farmer's market faggots in my oven. I thought I was going to have to move house.

Cauliflower, which I love eating.

Venison , followed by lamb

Seafood of any kind.

I now have a completely meat and fish free household and only cook and serve vegetarian food. That’s fine for family as we are all vegetarian or vegan and guests that aren’t have not complained!

Mince

Anything deep fried.

Black bean sauce makes me heave for some reason. Don't mind the taste but the smell gets to me.

I hate using fish sauce. But cooking smell wise I don't like the smell of fish, I never cook it. Whenever we're abroad I eat it almost daily!

Kidneys. I love the taste though.
