A flourless chocolate roulade kind of thing with lots of chocolate buttercream.

A proper Blackforest gateau or Sacher torte, well beyond my skillset. Expensive ingredients, no sweeteners, palm oil, etc.

Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

Or maybe coffee and walnut. I also like a good Christmas cake with lots of brandy/rum in it.

Can't narrow it down to one- sorry. Apple crumble with sultanas and cinnamon. Served cold with hot custard. Looooove Bakewell tart and custard. Love fruit cake too.

I LOVE this one, Its got the texture and stick around the teethness of a gingerbread, but with a lovely depth of honey flavour, I add cinnamon or ground allspice. I am going to make it as a Christmas cake for those who don't like fruitcake. Well, I will have both, and everyone else can as well.

Aware it's dull af compared to all the others (which do sound very tasty) but my favourite birthday cake for me is a Victoria sponge. Has to have buttercream and raspberry jam in the middle and white water icing with hundreds and thousands on top.

Ginger cake or classic Victoria sponge.

Lemon drizzle and carrot cake, both with buttercream.
i've also had vanilla sponge birthday cake with Italian buttercream and its delicious.

That clementine and chocolate cake looks amazing.
