Frying meat like bacon or sausages, I’m not a vegetarian anymore but still have an aversion to it.

Cumin. I think it smells like b.o.

Lamb

Eggs.

Haggis (sorry to all the Scottish folk).

It's the one foodstuff I refuse to have in the house. DS2 has to get his fix when he goes to Scotland with XH.

Tuna🤮🤮🤮 and I work in catering where they use fucking tonnes of it

Lamb, sheep reek in general
caulieflower/broccoli soups or oven bakes
smoked fish, it hangs around for days
tripe, I remember it from childhood, don’t think there’s a worse smell

Tangerines & clementines - oranges are ok - and no, I have no clue why either.

The first whiff that you get when someone opens a sealed pack of egg sandwiches.

They are all from my childhood: Fried mackerel, tripe in onion sauce, a well-hung pheasant, boiled cabbage and the kids being given a mug of cabbage water because it was full of vitamins.

Pot noodles. Prawn cocktail crisps. Beef and onion crisps. Basically powdered oniony cheesy factory food.

Garlic

I have to hold my breath to pass the butchers where they make their own pork pies. Ditto the chippy and the fish stall on the market.

I’m sure fish and chip shops used to smell nicer in the olden days- now they smell of slightly rancid vegetable oil.

Those bushes that smell of sperm!

Sweetcorn, DH insists on roasting it.
