Well I never make my own crisps or cocktail sausages..(Pina Colada sausage, anyone? I made them myself..)

dustystar · 09/04/2008 13:07

I tend to do mini sausages too. You could always put some cherry toms and strawberries etc out to please the lentil weavers.

CountessDracula · 09/04/2008 13:29

I think you will find you are the weirdo btw

MamaG · 09/04/2008 13:29

I think I'm more cuntry than you coddo, and they ate MY farking sandwiches (apart from one kid who just put 12 party rings on her plate! I sadi "I don't think so" and put em back bar 2 - mean cow I am)

BecauseImWorthIt · 09/04/2008 13:29

Thank goodness those days are long since gone!

I learnt the hard way that it's best to keep it simple and just serve what the kids like - to hell with lentil weavers!

Favourites for most kids was hot dogs or burgers (with a veggie equivalent if needed) and carrots/cucumber/cherry tomatoes.

Avoid Coke or Ribena - any bottle with a sports top is brilliant, even if it is a FS.

More crisps than you ever think possible.

went to 5yo party recently - mum served up numerous huge bowls of hoomoose (a la delia) and crudites (or fuckwankbollocks as dp and I call them) hoomoose not touched.

HuwEdwards · 09/04/2008 13:36
