Jack Monroe's festive nut roast

Have seen lots of recommendations for Jack Monroe's festive nut roast. Yet Googling only takes me to a snippet of the recipe or peopel's views on it.

Does anyone have the whole recipe and method?

According to twitter no and she never said what she did with the money raised or admitted how much she raised

Her behaviour is indefensible at this point.

That aside, I don’t think her nut roast recipe sounds very exciting, I’d definitely check out Nigella or Jamie Oliver as per previous posts on the thread!

Years and years ago she came out as nonbinary and trans, and as others have said, that went by the board fairly quickly. She has made any number of claims about her achievements that don't seem to stand up to scrutiny. I have no time for her at all. Also, when I look at recipes, I don't take into account whether the recipe writer is pretty or not. I want to know if they can cook and if other people have followed the recipe, found it reliable and enjoyed eating the end product.

"she's had a kicking" and rightly so from what I have read. A shame that I was once taken in by her rubbish.

And no she has not fulfilled any of her patron promises.

An absolute con artist.

And she has done bugger all campaigning despite being feted as a poverty campaigner.

She deserves she gets.

OP check out the Good Food site for a lovely vegan Christmas nut loaf shaped as a Chiristmas wreath. I made it two years ago and it was gorgeous.

A couple of months ago she teamed up with Curry's with some affordable recipes for the air fryer - one of them in particular was branded extremely dangerous and people were warned not to make it.

The woman is a grifter and always has been. She's jumped on every bandwagon there is - gay, trans, non binary, struggling single mother, #metoo, mental health issues, ADHD and other NT issues, latest is alcohol addiction, to name a few. All the while having parents who were award winning foster carers and utterly bemused by her rewritten childhood.

I've used quite a few of her recipes. I think she's had a hard time of it. The High Court awarded her £24,000 in damages plus costs against the unspeakable Katie Hopkins.

What does that have to do with the fact that she's solicited money for herself and not fulfilled her patreon promises, done the same on kick-starter, raised money for charity that never reached them and lied about her poverty.

Successfully suing Katie Hopkings doesn't justify ripping off the poorest.

All lies (except that her family were foster carers, but they were/are comfortable middle class, they’d hardly have been allowed to foster if they were that poor. In fact her grandad was a millionaire landlord).

Eh? You thought threads are annual, so hardly a constant barrage. At this point she's probably more famous for the theft than the recipes, so not surprising it gets mentioned when she comes up.

Michelle Mone wants people to 'move on' but doesn't want to pay back the money either. I think you are silly to just expect people to forget.
