Oooo. That would be halloumi fries and crispy beef salad with prawns from my local pub/restaurant. I'd be very happy with that 😊

Scampuss · 04/12/2023 16:07

Nando's.

I'll cope.

Pallisers · 04/12/2023 16:09

mexican. But it wasn't very good so I'd be very sad.

An expensive gastro pub where we had lovely roast dinner yesterday. The food would be great but I'd be broke eating there every day!

muddyford · 04/12/2023 16:10

Lovely pub with food almost as good as my mother made.

Terfosaurus · 04/12/2023 16:14

McDonald's. I could cope with that for a week. Although I might start ordering carrot sticks and bags of apple and grape!

Ibizabar · 04/12/2023 16:16

Burger van outside B & Q .

MalcolmTuckersSwearBox · 04/12/2023 16:16

Local Thai that does sit in & takeaway. The food is very good, so a week would definitely be doable. I wouldn’t want to do for a month though!

HuntingoftheSnark · 04/12/2023 16:17

The Ivy, fine!

AdoraBell · 04/12/2023 16:20

Ooh, I’m torn between the local farm shop and the Chinese takeaway where we used to live. I could walk to the farm shop, but they close at 3 every day. Would have to drive to the Chinese restaurant/takeaway.

How can you be torn? They can't both be the last takeaway you ate from?

BigFatLiar · 04/12/2023 16:21

Last one was a Toby Carvery (inspired by another thread). I'd cope with that.

Desecratedcoconut · 04/12/2023 16:21

A not-nandos takeaway place. It'll be tasty but the veg might be in short supply.

bridgetjonesmassivepants · 04/12/2023 16:26

The Imperial breakfast at Betty's. I'd quite happily eat this twice a day for quite a few weeks before I got tired of it. Mini cooked breakfast of potato rosti topped with scrambled egg and smoked salmon, a pain au chocolate, warm fruit toast with creme frais and berries and a mini Bircher oats with yoghurt and more berries too plus a pot of tea.

A rather good hotel 12 hours flight away, but it can,t happen.😪

Floralovesflowers · 04/12/2023 16:48

M&S cafe - just got back from meeting a friend there-cake was nice, coffee mediocre

Yesterday was breakfast in whichever restaurant is attached to a Premier Inn, was ok I guess

Not doing too well!

ManchesterGirl2 · 04/12/2023 17:07

A nice little cafe in town. I'm very happy with this outcome.

newfriend05 · 04/12/2023 17:08

Nando's

procrastinationismyhobby · 04/12/2023 17:13

That sounds delish!!!

Interesting food but I sincerely hope someone else is paying Grin

pinkfone · 04/12/2023 19:03

Subway - that might work!

Ghostofborleyrectory · 04/12/2023 19:11

Fish and chips at Beamish Country Life Museum. Not entirely ideal as they literally serve nothing but (very nice) fish and chips, so I will have scurvy by Christmas.

Chips are full of Vitamin C, so scurvy is not one of your worries!

cheapskatemum · 04/12/2023 20:02

Ooh, Giggling Squid 😋. Don't mind that at all!
