Lantana on Southwark Street in London. Perfect for me, I always wish I could have several things from the menu whenever I go there.

Takeaway - curry
Restaurant - burrito

Either way, I'm not sure my digestive system will thank me!

@MrsAvocet "size of a small planet" 😁😁

Mine was a local Greene King pub so bog standard pub grub - out of the freezer and into the fryer - but at least the menu is large and varied!

Chinese

Very nice seafood place. Will need a second mortgage to eat there every night 😱

Desolatewardrobe · 04/12/2023 13:48

Fish and chips at Beamish Country Life Museum. Not entirely ideal as they literally serve nothing but (very nice) fish and chips, so I will have scurvy by Christmas.

BestZebbie · 04/12/2023 13:57

Indian food from the local curry house - that would be fine, if I ever have a long weekend with only myself to feed I do that anyway: I order a curry with rice, naan, loads of side dishes etc on the first evening, immediately eat all the rice with a couple of spoonfuls of the others (as you can't keep rice hanging around), then have two meals a day off the rest for the rest of the weekend.

A cafe in a Yorkshire market town that gets 5 star reviews for its tea and pasties and one star for its coffee and paninis. I can cope with this for a week. Luckily it’s very cheap too.

Sushi.

I really do love it, but suspect I'd get bored having it for every meal for a week.

ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea · 04/12/2023 14:32

Our favourite Indian restaurant! I probably could eat there every day for a week.

MrsWimpy · 04/12/2023 14:35

Fish and Chips. I'm going to struggle!

skyeisthelimit · 04/12/2023 15:04

A really nice local pub as it was a relative's birthday meal. I ate pork loin in a stilton and cider sauce, with saute potatoes, so it would be nice to have a bit more of that.

The also do a lovely chicken breast in sauce, so I would alternate between those 2.

The Dysart in Petersham. Shame that.

MaloneMeadow · 04/12/2023 15:22

Wagamama! Hooray!

bluechameleon · 04/12/2023 15:35

I was taken to a very fancy brasserie by a family member, so I'm sorted. I'll happily work my way through the entire dessert menu.

Comefromaway · 04/12/2023 15:36

Toby carvery

Andarna · 04/12/2023 15:40

Greek food. I'm fine with that.

MissingMoominMamma · 04/12/2023 15:40

The small, but perfectly formed restaurant on our high street. It’s maybe 50 yards from my house, so highly convenient too!

KatBurglar · 04/12/2023 15:40

Local iIalian place, so I'm sorted for pizza, pasta, risotto, fish, salads, coffee and booze. Soubnds a good week, OP!

Hucks at centre parcs😂

BucketofTeaMassiveCake · 04/12/2023 15:44

Pork meatballs with apple sauce and seasonal veg, followed by a coffee and walnut cake served with cream, washed down with a pint of beer and a flat white coffee.

HardcoreLadyType · 04/12/2023 15:47

Bavarian style sausages from a food truck at Rochester Christmas market.

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 04/12/2023 16:01

Fabulous little vegan cafe. Lovely food but a small menu so there'd need to be several repeats. Main problem is they only open Wednesday-Saturday, 10-3.

OldTinHat · 04/12/2023 16:03

Dominos. Had one on Friday and only just finished the last bit yesterday. I never want to look at another pizza!
